Lunch with my husband for his birthday, was very pleasantly surprised. We have paid far more for a mixed grill in restaurants but this was by far the best, absolutely exceeded our expectations. Amazing service by the staff, thank you
Very noisy for 5pm, but we stayed for a quick meal as convenient. Excellent gammon and very reasonable price. Great coffee too. Dog friendly in bar too, which is lovely (unlike our local NR Worthing). Staff all very pleasant and helpful. App a bit useless as could not select a lime cordial with soda.

Superb pub for food and beer especially real ales of which 3-4 on sale daily, visited today+10%discount for Camra members(show card) great staff especially Rachel for looking after the ales superbly, Sian for her bubbly personality, just a great place to visit, happy days
I don't understand for the underrated reviews but this one of the best restaurant to have a meal, fun and get all great staff with lots of smiles serving you. I enjoyed their food every singe time. I hardly eat almost everyday in one pub previously. Now I'm at Tamar almost everyday with a lot all of dishes choices, great steaks at very reasonable price. I highly recommend Tamar for eat alone or with friends or family.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Brilliant karaoke and lovely people who run it also. Drinks prices are good mid range value too.
