I bumped into this place purely out of luck, I was just passing by the alleyway that leads to it and thought it (the passage) would surely lead to somewhere nice. And I was right! This is an absolutely lovely cafe/pub with the right (really warm and welcoming) atmosphere and a great selection of beers, several of which are Belgian. The only issue I can find is the prices I felt were slightly towards the upper end of the scale, but that wouldn't put me off from visiting again. Definitely give this place a go if/when you're in Nottingham.

Decent selection of German and Belgian beers on tap and a few cask beers. Helpful staff who know their beers. Definitely worth a visit. Nice outdoor area too.

Quiet when we went in. Staff member who served us was perfectly indifferent. Food was tasty though. Went next door to the Junkyard and the welcome was just so much better- engaging and enthusiastic about beer!

Popped in on a Tues at 2.30pm. Luckily they serve food whilst loads of other food places in Nottingham were closed. Ordered lamb kofte and burger and chips. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Decor and atmosphere upstairs is very well decorated with posters, large screen tv and plants. I would recommend popping in.

Friendly welcome, excellent choice of beers of all kinds, food was delicious and delivered quickly. The place is dog friendly too. We visited on a relatively quiet lunchtime but there was a nice atmosphere. The layout is conducive to a good eating and drinking experience.

Nice beer and a nice environment, although not as good when popular sports are on (like football). The outside joining area to Junkyard is good too, especially if you're not a beet drinker

A nice pub that sells a variety of drinks. I'm don't drink alcohol but they also had a nice range of non alcoholic and alcohol free drinks. My friends who do drink were impressed with the range here. You can hire the top floor for parties and events.

Update- another great lunch had here, with a selection of different meals. Really tastey food and of course always a great selection of beers. I will be back. Old-Lovely spot, walked in for some food and stayed for a few pints. For the price and the setting it's def worth it, I will definetely be back. They had the rugby on, but it was not noisey and its definetely not a sports bar. The food was great with some nice vegterian options.
