We love visiting the Magna charta, it’s very looked after and always clean. The service is great and the food is always spot on. The lunch offer is a steal! A special shout out to Wendy and Holly who looked after us this Monday! Keep up the fantastic work.

Thursday evening was almost fully booked, luckily we had a reservation. We ordered the Chicken Sharer and the Bang Bang cauliflower. The fried chicken in the platter was so tender and flavorful—absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough room in our stomachs, otherwise we would have loved to try the steak as well.

Lovely lunch with my daughter. would recommend the halloumi skewerers. my daughter really enjoyed the seasoning on the fries and Caine a member of staff was happy to give her some to take home. My daughters comment- Caine was a very nice worker and other staff too. Our lunch was lovely and dessert was delicious.

Lovely food, had a variety of dishes and all superb, from chicken and pepper skewer, to chicken fajita, to Ribeye steak and mixed grill. Can’t fault any of it. Jordon has served us a few times and is great! Fizz Friday is a bonus at £12.99 a bottle and if you’re lucky to get a live band it will round off an already great visit!

Great atmosphere here, and quite a varied menu. I had booked for another pub, which, after eating there a couple of days before, was really poor, but prompted me to try the Magna Charta. My patina was excellent, and my friends burger was exceptional .. we were looked after well by waiting staff. Unfortunately the 3 coffees we ordered weren't piping hot. And our other friend wasn't overly impressed with her garlic mushrooms. But mine was brilliant, well priced, well presented. Will definitely go again.

Friendly and helpful staff. The beer seems well kept - no complaints there. The lighting, layout and decor creates a modern but bland and characterless ambience - family-friendly and inoffensive, but not enticing. As for the food: well, to be honest, it's below average for the money. The steak pie I had was very dry, with lots of pastry and not much meat, and it was served with an absurdly tiny amount of gravy - perhaps half an inch in the bottom of a small round dish. I left most of the pastry. On another occasion I had one of their burgers, and it was OK, but no better than countless mass-produced burgers you can get in any cheap eatery, and certainly well below par for the money. If you fancy a burger, you'd be better going to McDonalds and paying half the money. Two of my friends had the chicken salad and they tell me it was very good, so maybe you should stick to that. In summary: very good staff; good beer; below average food (especially at that price); family-friendly but characterless.
