Why are you're staff hiding, then claiming new stock for colleagues to have for their own benefit on multiple items.
Called in to buy a Ziggy robot dog. I thought I had bought it on line but wasn't sure. Enquire at the Till, a young lady ( Lucy ) went above and beyond to help me. She's a star. 5 star. A credit to Smyths.
Purchased a Smyths Store exclusive bike which has gone faulty for the second time in 9 months. Despite this they refuse to accept a bank statement as proof of purchase and won’t repair the faulty brakes. You could only purchase the item from Smyths so them claiming I could have purchased elsewhere despite the bank statement for the amount is pretty disgraceful. I’d avoid purchasing bikes from here.
Wanted to return a baby high chair. Rude customer service. Manager(richard) was very dismissive. Rude woman who works there said, "what we gona do with an openned baby high chair we cant sell". What am i gona do with a high chair i am not going to use!! Told me i cant return it. Nothing is wrong. Was very unstable and felt not safe, not putting my baby at risk. Told me their policy is on the receipt, once bought they dont accept returns on baby items, but i dont get receipt untill after purchase. I felt like i was scammed, not made aware of their baby policy before purchase. If i knew of said policy, i would not have purchased! They basically scammed me..a kids store!! Not going to smyths again..plenty of other baby toys and accessories sellers at better quality out there. Avoid this place..esspecially richard and the woman i had to deal with!
Visited today for grandchildrens xmas presents armed with a list! Greeted by a friendly assistant at the door,we didn’t know where to look for specific items there is so much here! A lovely assistant helped us find each item we wanted no problem at all.The till was busy but another assistant called over to say if anyone just wanted to pay they were free.Our total visit time was approx 20mins,we got exactly what we needed and the customer service was 1st class! Well done smyths we will definitely return here.
Special thanks to Danny & Kirsty in the department with car seats. They’re are true credit to the company! With having kids of their own, they really taught us the importance of which car seat was best for our car. They answered all of our questions with ease, booked an appointment with us to show us demonstrations on which seats best fitted for our car in-store and even fitted it for us after purchasing one. Don’t put a price on your kid’s safety! Let these ladies show you the seats best suited for your little passenger!
This place is considered a paradise for kids, you can find all type of toys with wide ranges of prices. I liked that it is distributed based on categories like cars, dogs, video games, etc. The prices though seems higher than other places. There is laces to park your car for free.
