    A lovely pub with a really nice selection of local ale on tap. Lots of cosy seating available and always friendly people behind the bar. Worth walking a little bit further out of Arnold town centre to find it.

    This was my first time in this pub although I've probably drove past it 10000 times. Me and my Dad went to a talk by a local historian. It was very interesting. The decor inside was charming. The air conditioning was brilliant as it was really hot outside. The drinks were nicely chilled. There's a list on a wall of all the previous landlords and landladies who ran the pub. One of my ancestors name was included, 12 year old pot washer Miles Rockley. Will definitely go again.
