Visited today for Sunday lunch as a party of four. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great choice of food from traditional Sunday lunches to to Thai curries and even fish & chips. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be going back.
A fantastic little pub with a great atmospher and a great selection of beer. We stopped while on a walk and having walked past the two other pubs in the village we couldn't resist the woodlark. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and the out door seating area was packed, booking a table to eat would be esential. We didn't eat but the menu looked good and we'll be back next week to give it a go.
We wanted to try this pub as it was a 4.7 and in a pretty village, within 2 miles from home. The pub did not disappoint. If you like fresh seafood then this is the place for you. I had the fish and chips which was a huge portion and my partner had the full Cromer Crab with fries and salad. Both mains were very fresh and tasty. Staff were lovely and very attentive. The man behind the bar knew the drinks off the top of his head. The lady who served us was chatty and friendly. They have a specials menu that changes often. Photos attached and real Ales! Our lunch/ dinner came to £68 2 mains £19 & £25 (big portions) Large wine £10 Beer x 2 approx £10 Port £4.50 Reservation strongly recommended as this pub only seats 30 people in the restaurant side of the pub. There is an open fire that I’m sure would be lovely in the cooler months. The bar area is full of locals and has a nice chilled vibe. Overall very good!!
Excellent food and good assortment of ales and other drinks. Newly erected outside bar and gypsy type caravan snack bar. Comfy restaurant with around 40 covers. Good old fashioned bar with open fire and a great atmosphere with locals. Dominoes and cards still played on Saturdays. Restricted parking, but 61 bus service drops you at the door. Even if you're on you're own, you will always be made welcome. New Landlady Em is a hoot! Husband Richard is chef and is good at his art. Lovely outside conservatory type seating. Dogs made welcome with doggy bites on bar. Thoroughly Recommend.
Lovely traditional pub serving delicious food. The person before me bought the last Fish and Chips so I settled for homemade Steak & Ale pie with chips and veg. The pie was yummy with beautiful pastry. The specials board had some appealing options. Will return to try the fish another time. Also had a very nice pint of Harvest Pale. Worth a trip on the bus any day.
I’m a bit late posting but wanted to share a lovely dining experience at this super little, friendly pub restaurant. The food was amazing and well presented. It had a lovely Christmas feel.
Best pub we've been to for a while. The food was incredible and I honestly couldn't fault one bit of it. Everything in the starters through to the mains was cooked to perfection. Top notch service, friendly and welcoming staff. Can't wait to visit again!
Lovely cosy pub with out-of-this-world food! First time in the Woodlark Inn and certainly not the last! Very cosy and charming, great ambience, and friendly staff that made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The food is remarkably good! Delicious dishes with a lot of fish options, beautiful presentation and terrific desserts that won't make you regret it if you're on a diet! 10/10!
