We came with our friends today for the festive meal. The table was decorated perfectly with the finished touches and the food and service was excellent. The food was lovely and hot and the quality of a top class restaurant. Thank you very Dan and your staff. We are regulars so will see you soon. Thank you John
Wasn't overly impressed with our food it was okay nothing special.. large mixed grill was a little dry Mac and cheese was just simple nothing fancy and the chicken burger was mediocre.. it was clean and busy and served quickly.. polite and friendly just wasn't overly impressed with the food
My god the food here is to die for! We had the ultimate burger with their skin on fries, and a pot of hot honey sauce. Wow! The best burger we have ever had at a Greene king pub! Highly recommend
We have been coming to The Bluebell for years and have had good and bad experiences.. It would appear that when it's busy the quality of the food and service is so much better. Our sizzling steaks tonight were definitely not sizzling. Infact the onions were watery and luke warm as was the steak. Chips and peas on the other side of the plate were hot. We didn't have anyone come and ask us if everything was okay with our food which was surprising as it wasn't busy at all.. We should of sent it back straight away when it arrived but we were too polite. Hope this was a one off as we have really enjoyed our sizzling steak experience on many other occasions. Very disappointed.
A very solid pub. Came here with my family for a Thursday evening meal. Initially struggled to find parking round the back but got there eventually. Servers were absolutely lovely. It just took a tad long for the food to arrive but it was fairly busy so understandable there. Food was good quality and tasty, decent pub grub for the price not too expensive. Plenty of TVs all around so I imagine it’s a great local to watch the matches at. Great choice of pints on tap, definitely one of the more extensive selections I’ve had to choose from. I started with a Guinness which was a good pour and tasted decent, then a cask ale which went down very smoothly with the burger, and a nice Peroni to top it off. Overall would definitely recommend this pub whether for food or just drinks, can imagine it being super popular on Friday nights and match days though so maybe don’t bring you Gran to watch Forest play, but certainly a place she’d enjoy a meal at another times. Thanks to the staff, I’ll definitely be back.
Went the other day and had to send back my steak 3-4 times because it was purple raw in the middle as if it was out the packet and when it came back rare at best even tho i asked for medium it was burnt on the outside… but chips were nice and the rest of my meal was decent. I don’t think they check a steak to see if it’s cooked

Went to the Family Fun Day. Whippd Vegan Ice cream deserts yummy. Plus met Woody and Buzz what more could you say Staff were wonderful as always. Very attentive and playing their part in Superhero costumes.
