    Such a lovely, friendly pub. We go there most Thursday evenings, as a family, for the pub quiz & sticky 13s. It's got such a great, relaxed vibe, and is very dog-friendly, so we're able to bring pooch with us - who always looks forward to the dog treats he gets from the bar staff. They bring out sandwiches & sausage rolls during the quiz, which is lovely. There's also a pool table and they have some sheltered outdoor seating, and a good-sized car park. For anyone looking for a small, friendly, local pub I highly recommend this place (especially the Thursday quiz night!)

    My grandparents, Lou and Vera Bradshaw, ran this pub in the 70's. before they retired in 1976. My brother, sister in law, nephew, my daughter and I popped in to visit on Sunday afternoon for a drink, and it still felt the same as it did when Mamma and Grandpa were there. It was lovely chatting to the landlady and I hope we get back soon to visit again.
