Girl behind bar super rude 20/12 said can't have a cloth to wipe table outside as I wanted to sit and have food with my daughter who had a puppy in a hand bag. Said no can't sit there.. noone else in beer garden as it was winter so no trouble to anyone.. done this many times in this spoons and others

One of my grandparents’ favorite Wetherspoon locations. The food is nicely cooked and the staff are very pleasant. There was a bit of a delay, but overall I wasn’t disappointed and enjoyed the visit.

This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a bright and raw feel to its interior! The pillars are great and lights are pretty, counter is well presented too. I had a pint of Stowford Press, enjoying the leather seating at a clean table!

Lovely spoons, clean. Food delicious. Had XL mixed grill, and a small scampi, with drinks. Very busy but served well, quick, and pleasant

A typical small town Spoons, nothing exciting on the Cask Ale front but the usual prompt efficient service. Excellent, regular 10 minute daytime bus service here to Nottingham with a stop right outside the pub and a dot matrix informing the time of the next few departures.

Good food reasonably priced. Helpful staff. Would recommend

Had another breakfast here today, with endless coffee. Service was great and fast although the breakfast wasn't that warm, which was a shame as I would have given 5* if it wasn't for that. The heating was also broken but engineers were on site fixing it. Will still be going back for another breakfast as it is good value for money

The pub itself is attractive and well set out and comfortable. However parking is at a premium and the Iceland car park next door allows parking for one hour only. It would be helpful if Wetherspoons staff could remind customers of this fact as a friend got fined £170 recently as he had moved house and not received the penalty letter. The barman was friendly and helpful. The other member of staff was indifferent to the point of rudeness, no eye contact or smile. Very small selection of guest ales. Ok if you're not a fan of real ale.

  3. Google Customer Service ★★★★★

Really like this weatherspoons, staff always seem friendly and happy to help, the food is always fast to arrive and is just exactly as you would expect from a weatherspoon pub. Happy to return as and when I get chance. Only downside is the struggle of parking locally.
