Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations due to several issues with comfort, cleanliness, and maintenance. This is a converted house rather than a purpose-built guest house, so future guests should manage expectations accordingly. There is very little soundproofing between rooms, meaning noise from other guests was clearly audible late at night and early in the morning. Each time the upstairs bathroom was used, we could hear water dripping through the ceiling, which was disruptive. The bathroom raised a number of concerns: β’ The shower gel had clearly already been used β’ There was spillage on the radiator and wall β’ Damp patches were visible on the wall beside and above the window β’ The shower head was damaged and leaking, and the sealant needs a proper clean β’ A bathroom tile was cracked β’ The toilet seat was not fitted correctly β’ The toilet is positioned extremely close to the bath, making it uncomfortable to use if you are over approximately 5β2β Other points worth noting: β’ The stairs are very steep, which may be unsuitable for some guests Overall, the property would benefit from better maintenance, deeper cleaning, and clearer communication about its limitations so guests can make an informed decision before booking.

Lovely room, very clean with everything you need. Added bonus of a patio. Second stay here, with another booked for the garden lodge in October. Definitely recommend

This was a real treat as we stayed in the lodge. If you like a steady walk out of town then this is the place for you It does take about 20 minutes from the bus station to stroll to the lodge but it's well worth the walk I only have one slight piece of negative feedback and that was the water damage to the floor in the bedroom, by the clothes rail It didn't affect our stay and it wasn't unsafe but it does look a little unsightly to be honest The service we got was excellent We had an issue upon entry and an issue with Netflix to reset it and both were resolved within seconds of calling the service desk How fantastic is that To be honest it was our fault in the entry code issue but I wanted to point out how quickly we were responded too and how attentive the operator was. Superb Great value for money An entirely new experience for us Would highly recommend Thank you so much for an excellent stay We will be back if you will have us xx

Amazing Stay at The Larches β 10/10 Experience! I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Larches in Wolverhampton. I have to say the customer service was exceptionalβfriendly, responsive, and made the whole process seamless. The room itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, homely feel. The bathroom was equally impressive, super clean, and well-equipped. All the instructions for finding the property and accessing the room were very clear, which made check-in easy. Overall, it was a perfect experience from start to finish. Iβd highly recommend The Larches to anyone visiting Wolverhampton. Definitely a 10/10 stay!

I would highly recommend this place. It's cosy, good value for money and very secure with cameras inside and outside. The noise level is low even with the window wide open, making it a peaceful and relaxing stay. The room is dark when the lights are off and the curtains are drawn. The bathroom is snug but spacious, with a bath big enough for two adults. The room had all the amenities we needed such as a microwave, mini fridge, teas and coffees, kettle, hair dryer, iron and board, bowls and plates, cutlery, wine glass etc. The room was super clean, with no dirt in the bath, no hair in the bed, and no limescale on the taps. The bed was comfortable with four pillows and some cushions. The only downside is the roadside parking, so it's something to consider if you are traveling by car. All in all, I would highly recommend this place for a great stay.

Stayed here for 6 nights, great value for money. Rooms are cosy, clean and have all the amenities that you need, including a communal kitchen. Yes the rooms are small so if you are looking to sit in the room and not go anywhere for the entire stay the this probably isn't the accommodation for you!! Jay the manager has been very accommodating during our stay and always been on hand for any questions. Location is great as there are plenty of amenities nearby and it is about a 20 min walk into Wolverhampton Centre or there are plenty of buses.

Stayed in the garden room, lovely and clean, warm, exactly as seen in pics. Lovely extras, towels, ironing board, iron, corkscrew, hairdryer, little sample sizes of shower gel and shampoo perfect for a one night stay. The only downfall was a lack of pressure in shower but hot enough and did the job. Would definitely stay again, would be 5 stars if the shower was as good as the rest.
