This was a pleasant surprise to find in Warminster. Nicely tucked away and pleasurable as well. It reminds me of the Serpentine boating lake in Hyde Park, London; but without the boats and crowd. Warminster lake pleasure ground is decently maintained and packed with activities for the whole family to enjoy. Mini golf, skateboard, tennis, play ground etc. And the landscape works quite well with the lake set in the middle. Takes you back to victorian times and joyous promenade. Ideal for leisurely walks, running through to the neighbouring areas, or just an idle sit to watch the ducks and swans. Magnificent!

Wonderfully set out with plenty to keep children happy. The splash zone was popular but not too crowded, especially given it was a nice day. Other park staples such as swings and climbing frames offering something for ages up to around 12 years. Great cafe adjacent to the park offering very reasonably priced food, drink and ice cream. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Toilet facilities clean and close by. 5 stars

A lovely discovery hidden away from the main street of the town. Green, and lush. Relaxing and lots to do.... Or just sit by the lake and enjoy the rest. Cafe... Play area. Water play. Ice creams. Like being at the beach... But minus the sea!

A nice little lake to stretch your legs after long car drive ! They have a big play park for kids and a skater park for teens. The coffee shop a plus with toilets on side. Will visit again if the weather is nice parking is okay if early !

Fantastic park with a variety of things to do, playground, splash pad, skate park, row boats, walking paths, and plenty of grassy area to kick a ball around. Great place for a picnic and bonus: if you are short on time to prepare at home, Morrison's grocery is right across the street. There's also a cafe with drinks and a small selection of snacks inside the park. Only downside is there are only about 8-10 parking spots inside the park, but there's free street parking up the hill from the park, so it's not too difficult to get a spot. I arrived mid/late afternoon on a Wednesday.

Lovely big lake full of ducks, swans and geese, big play area for the kids, younger on one half and older things on the other and a splash park but in the middle. (bring the kids a towel and change of clothes) There are open grass areas to sit for picnics and a handful of benches and tables dotted around . They had little ice cream hut, toilets (although no toilet paper and i can imagine the queue will to be big on busy days, there was a fairly constant queue while we was there ). They also had tennis court, basketball court, Mini golf, and you can even hire a little lake row boat .

Really nice area, clean and safe lots to do as a family could spend a whole day here. Massive park, splash pad, tennis courts, cafe, lake with ducks, boat hire. Nice for a free day out as long as you pay for parking (£1.75 for 3 hours) and bring a picnic

Really clean and well kept.plenty of benches to sit and enjoy a drink or snack which you can bring from home or buy in the onsite cafe. Ducks were very active and fun to watch. There is a playback for the kids and a skatepark tennis courts and nature trail.
