We went today for our Sunday lunch after hearing great things. Well.. our roast was bloody handsome!! Best we’ve had. Staff were lovely and the pub is a proper pub. We will 100% be back!
Took my mum and dad for a mid-week treat meal and had the most superb food and service. The home baked bread was to die for, worth going for that alone. Our meals were delicious and exceeded my expectations. We will be back.
We went for a family meal at the Eliot last night and the food was brilliant! I went for the garlic mushrooms and chicken milanese, which was excellent. The portion sizes are very generous and the food was hot and served quickly. The atmosphere and decor in the pub is one thing we all talked about as it was a lovely place. The staff were attentive and welcoming too, thanks for a great evening!
Such a beautiful environment with great parking, lovely service and the food was absolutely incredible! I went for the Lasagne of the Day and it was the best I’ve had, so warming!
Very disappointed! The portions very small, one carrot, one roast potato, one floret of cauliflower cheese, the smallest yorkshire pudding I have ever seen. It was nothing like the photograph advertised. Will not be returning. We are traveling back to lincolnshire tomorrow so haven't got time to pop back for a refund in person.
Had our annual works do here. Food was very tasty, friendly, accommodating & helpful service. Good band, good selection of drinks, clean room, all positive. Recommend to anyone.
Went last week for roast. Nice place and food good. Landlord nice enough. Only downside was tall loud eccentric chap who shouts and swears with kids in earshot. Shame as was very off putting.
Came here to play at their openmic (running fortnightly Wednesdays to my knowledge at the time) Beautiful venue, very welcoming atmosphere, I certainly enjoyed myself, very nice selection of drinks to suit most palletes. Definitely worth popping in if you're passing by, free car park on site, thank you for reading!
