To be honest, it can be a bit variable but on 20th Dec it was perfect. There were several large groups in for breakfast but it all ran like clockwork, nothing ran out or if it did it was quickly replaced. We had a great family meet up and thanks to Somea, Mike, Lily, Leah and Jo

Went to Beefeater yesterday having prebooked meal for two. We had a 40% off mains voucher provided we spent more than £30. It excluded the Festive menu but said nothing about any other main course. After buying a couple of drinks we looked at menu and chose the sharing platter main course. We were then told that this was not covered in the 40% off. I queried this and the Waitress said she would check with the other Waitresses. The Waitress returned and said that she would ask the Manager. The Waitress returned again saying that the Manager would not include that meal in the 40%. The Manager obviously could not be bothered to come out and speak to us. I have no complaints about the Waitress who was very pleasant. I do think the Manager could have at least spoken to us. We were intending to book Christmas Dinner there for Christmas Day. Obviously we will go elsewhere. Beefeater need to ensure that their offers are not misleading.

Had an absolutely delicious sirloin steak with triple fried chips, and pepper sauce, one of our party had gammon, and the other chicken & ribs combo, all were delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was Dan who was so friendly and attentive,a real asset to the establishment,he looked after us exceptionally well. Can not wait for a return visit, and can highly recommend The Three Fishes .

We had the lunchtime menu and really enjoyed the food. The veggie lasagne was a revelation, so tasty. However, there was an upgrade and for 99p you could have garlic flatbread. You got two very small triangles that were overcooked. That aside, the atmosphere was nice and the service was very friendly. Liz was lovely. Sort out your flatbread,as everything else was great!

Booked in advance. We had the festive menu. The prawn cocktail was lovely, the chicken wings were very sparse and expensive for what they were, the ribs main was disappointing, it looked good but no cranberry at all and not much flavour just a lot of sauce. The mixed grill was average so a little expensive. Overall the visit was average, however it took around 20 minutes for staff to take our order and then no one came to check on anything and we kept having to go to the bar throughout our meal for further drinks, as there was just no service and at this point there were less than 5 tables full in the restaurant. Overall, wouldn't visit again because of slow service and prices for average food.

I went in not having gone to a beefeater in years and I have to say it was a lovely taste surprise. We had burgers and they were amazing. The meat patty's were so tasty ....refillable cokes....and waited on by happy and friendly staff. What was going to be a call in for a quick bite turned into the best burger id had in ages.

Food was tasty but not great portions considering the price of the meals. The calamari starter was certainly not worth its price and the '74 hot sauce' is dreadful, it's basically orange ketchup. Staff were friendly and welcoming but slow all round, there were 3 waitresses serving around 6 tables on Monday night and it seemed too much for them to cope with. Tuesday was better but not by much. Breakfast was ok, bacon was stone cold on both mornings and the black pudding snapped when I cut into it because it was so thin. Food was with a meal deal while staying at the premier inn but if I didn't have the meal deal I would not have come back to eat there which is disappointing as when it first opened it was excellent

A clean and modern pub. Problems with stock, with good unavailable. Hopefully this will change in time. One disappointment, by 5pm there was no Sunday roast available. Foods was nice and cooked well. Plus a good pint of Guinness.

Very very nice Beefeater. The waiting Staff are lovely. Nothing is a bother. It's well presented and clean. For the price difference between Whitbread's other Restaurant Brewers fayre I choose Beefeater. The atmosphere is chilled. You are shown to Your table. Allowed to relax. Then Drinks are ordered. Then food is ordered. There is no rushed feeling. Which is great when all You want to do is enjoy the ambience. Beefeater is good for You Through and Through.
