Really poor experience at Saffron Court The interior door handle came off, leaving us unable to exit the apartment. Because the door locks automatically, we were effectively trapped inside and could only open the door by wedging a shoe into it. This created a serious safety risk in the event of a fire or medical emergency, we would not have been able to leave the flat. This occurred during normal working hours when office staff and maintenance should have been on site. However, no staff were available and we were left relying solely on the security officer who was helpful but unable to fix the issue. The security officer contacted the building manager, Dangira, who stated that no maintenance staff were available. She was completely dismissive of the serious safety concerns raised. When I pointed out that out-of-hours maintenance staff should be available to handle emergencies like this, she refused to take any further action; essentially admitting that we would remain trapped unless a security officer manually opened the door from the outside. This situation is completely unacceptable given the obvious safety risks and falls far below the standard of service that should be expected for the level of rent being charged.

Me and my partner have lived here for 3 months now. Really lovely place to live. Great outdoor space in the courtyard for our little dog. Staff are lovely when moving in, especially Chloe at reception. Always willing to help and with a smile :) great having the vending machines here for a little snack when you can’t be bothered to go to the shop. Quiet work area is really helpful as I work from home a lot of the time and the reception area is lovely and cosy. Really nice and vibrant feel to the place. The gym is a great extra aswel and very helpful being just downstairs. There’s also secure underground parking which makes you feel nice and secure with free parking for guests round the side - great for being in the centre! We love it here !

This is an absolutely lovely place to live, myself and my partner love our apartment and have felt very safe and welcome since the day we moved in. Barely need to use our heating and bills are always very reasonable and we are so pleased to have a dog friendly building to live in, our girl loves it here too. Staff are so friendly and attentive, making you feel really at home, super helpful and we have never had to wait for anything to be repaired, always really swift responses to any enquiry. A great place to live and cannot recommend enough!

Me and my partner have lived here for the past 6 months and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. It’s lovely never having to worry about being in for parcels as reception will collect them, the apartments are modern, maintenance are quick and helpful, and the city centre is easily accessible. It’s also a very big benefit for us being able to have our cat in a pet friendly building without stress.

Avoid the place. First of all - apartment layout is problematic. There is no space to take of your shoes, you're getting right into kitchen. Windows won't open and on top floor (I've heard lower too) apartments get extremely hot during summer. Even few weeks after heatwave temperature was unbearable. Concierge service makes your life only harder. They could have been replaced by a simple drop box. You need to go down for each delivery (food or larger size). If you complain you will learn that management put up series of rules that limits their job to sitting at the desk looking at people going in and out. Save your money, time and sanity and do not move in.

Unprofessional lettings Administrator saying to the client “leave it or take it/ I will cancel you reservation” “I am the boss here”. To me it is really a bad experience!! I would prefer to deal with someone who’s more professional. Additionally, 3 different people saying different things about the policy of viewing and reserving the apartment!! :(

Run away as fast as you can. The charges at the of the tenancy are full of lies. Very unscrupulous people and incompetent to change a bulb but tried to charge me £150 to re-paint a wall because I left a tiny piece tape on the wall...

AVOID, Be aware of unfair charge in the end of your tenancy. Overall the apartment is in a good location, and quite modern style. But it also the most worst letting agent I ever dealt with, the checking out process is totally a nightmare. They plan to charge me £248 for the rip in the bed headboard and insisted the whole headboard is damaged and out of function, which I believe it was caused by the reasonable usage and quality of furniture. To compare with, I asked them to change the fridge shelf when I moved in, all they said it's fit to use. What a double standard! If you believe this is the fair treatment, just go ahead, otherwise, you should really re-consider before you move in!

Scandalous staff and management team. 1.Concierge service is there to provide surveillance for property manager Joshua. 2. Property manager sends cleaning member of staff to carry out surveillance. This has happened twice and photographic evidence taken today. 3.Neighbours that lack cultural diversity on the higher floors. Malicious complaints about ‘music’ from rude concierge staff that are neighbours. 4.Staff live in the building and will go out of their way to continue harassment when you make a formal complaint- Under the direction of the property manager 5. Security come upstairs with their body cameras with no notification/proof. Complaint made to Nottingham police, city council and community protection. Since the CP Superintendent called me regarding my complaint I’ve had no more un-notified visits. 6. New Ring Cameras installed on the 5th floor corridors this week under the guise of maintenance being carried out. Removed after a few days-privacy issues. Once the cameras are removed cleaning staff seen spying outside my front door again on a Saturday! 7. Ticking the bare minimum Equality and Diversity boxes. Overall an intolerant place to live. 8. My dog visited and was playing in the break out area with other dogs. I was watched on CCTV by management-who left me a voicemail regarding me needing to speak to lettings department about my dog who visited for one day then left-lol. tenants that live on the 6th floor are allowed to have their dogs off the lead indoors and staff will not say anything because they are prejudiced. 9. Neighbours get away with leaving notes on your door stating ‘they are key workers and work night shifts’ again assuming you are not a Keyworker yourself. This will happen on your first day of moving in when you are putting furniture together. 10. Pretentious building Rothschild company own but they’ve built it on the doorstep of the meadows, your local post office will be in the heart of the estate. Don’t be fooled by the nice decor and furniture
