This was our first trip to Belfast and my husband and I are happy we chose to stay at this lovely B&B hosted by the wonderful Roger and Olive. Upon arrival, Roger carried our heavy luggage up the stairs to our room while Olive prepared us a pot of tea and provided us with much helpful information about their establishment and Belfast in general. All recommendations from them were spot-on and they were always responsive to any inquiries we had. Our room had a king size bed and was very comfortable. The rooms are very sound proof and we heard absolutely no noise from other guests or even from the city street at night. It was so quiet we often wondered if there were really other guests! (they were full). The bathroom, while small, had a nice size shower and quality toiletries. You can tell that they care about "clean" products. Breakfasts were cooked to order and we were impressed by the homemade bread and thoughtfulness of the ingredients and menu. Roger and Olive have done a remarkable job in creating a comfortable B&B experience, and there are plenty of shops and places to eat within an easy 10 minute walk. The bus stop is nearby making it easy to access the city core. I highly recommend Ravenhill House and would absolutely stay here again.

I can't thank Olive and Roger enough for their hospitality and kindness during my recent 10 day stay at Ravenhill House. This residence is a refuge, a sanctuary, a place of calm and peace. I stayed in the Morris Room on the top floor, decorated beautifully with wallpaper and fabrics by William Morris, one of the founders of the Arts and Crafts movement. My room was serviced every second day and not only did I have everything I could need, but if I asked for something, it was provided quickly and with great care. I enjoyed breakfast in the front room on the ground floor several times, sitting in the bay windows with fresh flowers from the garden on the table and organic, homemade bread and cereal, fruit and compotes. I enjoyed the 40min walk into Belfast many times, but also took Ubers and there is also a bus if needed. Nearby are some lovely places to eat. I enjoyed Shed Bistro immensely. Belfast was a very enjoyable trip for me, definitely made so by Olive and Roger looking after me so well at my home-base of Ravenhill House. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Belfast and I hope to come back some day!

Olive and Roger are thoughtful, considerate and very pleasant hosts. The rooms are nicely thought out and equipped. Breakfast was very tasty! The road is semi-busy, particularly at rush hour and trucks go by in the early morning, so it's not as quiet as the neighborhood seems like it should be. But much quieter than in the city centre! Many eateries within a 10-minute walk. The walk into city center is straightforward.

We were so glad to have stayed with Roger & Olive for two days in Northern Ireland. The Flax room was quiet and comfortable. Their entire home & gardens were spotless and their recommendations were spot on. Plenty of parking, easy walk to restaurants and pubs, safe neighborhood and easy access to downtown with the bus stop right outside as needed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh baked breads, beautiful china, fresh French press coffee, it was everything we needed to feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely return our next trip through Belfast.

My stay at Ravenhill House was cozy and wonderful, I wished I could have stayed in this picturesque Victorian townhouse longer. Roger is the most welcoming and accomodating host and the breakfast was nothing short of delicious - many thanks to Olive for the great sourdough. Thank you for a fantastic stay and I hope to return next time I am in Belfast

This beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained B and B made for a most enjoyable stay. Roger and Olive keep a spotlessly clean and welcoming home. Our breakfasts were varied in their offerings and delicious, including homemade sourdough toast. Roger offered excellent advice on what to see, and we were able to walk to restaurants and into city center ( also easy access to bus route). We recommend highly and hope to return.

I arrived at Ravenhill on the 13th June after a delayed flight and long day. Roger was excellent on my arrival he showed me to my room which was perfect. I was going to a nearby concert pointed me in the right direction and off I went. If you want a small but great hotel stay at Ravenhill, I didn't have breakfast but it smelt yummy....!!! A big thankyou to Olive & Roger if I'm back in Belfast I will definitely stay with you again...!!!

As soon as you walk in the door, you know youβve made the right choice, Roger and olive are very welcoming. Our room showed the care taken to make it Specially comfortable. The quality of the bed makes sure you have a good nights sleep..With good restaurants only five minutes away, itβs a real gem, Make sure to have the breakfast( Everything is quality) We have stayed in a lot of places in Ireland and We donβt give five stars easily but this is an exception. It only gets what it deserves five stars.
