Lots of great entertainment and the staff is very friendly. I live here so I don't know about the rooms. The events I've exhibited at have been well managed by staff. I like that the hotel is centrally located so it's easy to get to.
My husband and I stayed here on the 30/11/2025,and the service was excellent, beautiful clean qarn room with plenty of tea and coffee. Staff were more than helpful the girls in the reception desk are so friendly and engaging. Had breakfast the following morning a great buffet of hot and cold food would definitely stay again
I attended an event at The Balmoral Hotel on Saturday, organised by my jiu-jitsu club, and it couldn’t have gone better. The place itself is beautiful and has a real sense of occasion about it. The staff were fantastic – friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything ran seamlessly from start to finish, and the food was spot on. You could tell a lot of care went into making sure the night was enjoyable for everyone. It’s rare to find a venue that delivers across the board like that. I’d definitely recommend The Balmoral to anyone planning an event or looking for somewhere impressive to celebrate.
Stay here every time we are 8n Belfast , ideal location for ferry . . Rooms are lovely , staff couldn't be nicer. When we stayed last month, my husband left hearing aids in room, we called hotel and they had them sent on to us . Lady Anne restaurant is great really no need to leave the hotel .
Stay here every time we visit Ireland. Absolutely love this place. Breakfast is delicious, staff is super nice, rooms are great. Only downside is there is no elevator here. If you cannot climb stairs request a floor level room when booking.
An ideal base to stay in if you want to visit Belfast and the rest of Northern Ireland. Breakfast is superb, Damien is a cool dude. Evening meal is also good. Nice bar , nice rooms. All the staff are very professional. Well worth the visit and the money.
Appearances are deceptive. We arrived for a one night stay yesterday, 30/12/2022. Visually the hotel looked lovely and festive, but within 5 mins of being in our room it was obvious the hotel stay was not going to be a peaceful one. Two rooms opposite ours were occupied by young friends who were in and out of each others rooms, slamming the doors! This was nothing though, compared to through the night. Car doors banging in the car park, the windows not insulated at all so we spent the whole night being woken up by returning guests who had not an ounce of consideration for ‘sleeping’ guests. Coming into the corridors and chattering loudly then banging doors. Horrendous nights sleep. The windows need triple glazing, especially those over the car park, and the room doors need up grading to stop the noise on the corridors. How sad that such a lovely hotel can leave guests feeling so unrested. The noise did not stop until after 2.00am, the at 6.30am it began again with the arrival of delivery trucks.
I can't fault the hotel one bit. The receptionist went over and beyond to get us into a room before check in with the help of the cleaning staff. Lovely hotel and everything was just great. The breakfast was 10 out of 10. Brilliant selection of hot and cold foods.
