Absolutely terrible experience. The room was stuffy, dated, and completely uncomfortable, with no AC and a tiny window that barely opened — no airflow at all. It was like trying to sleep in a hot box. The bathroom was dirty, the TV was ridiculously small, and everything just felt worn out and neglected. It was so bad, I left and paid for another hotel rather than stay the night — despite knowing I wouldn’t get a refund. That’s how miserable it was. Total waste of money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Good location designer outlet within walking distance 12 minutes from Belfast International Airport Large ASDA across road . Rooms ok depending on were the room is situated can be very noisy if rooms are situated adjacent or above the main entrance

We stayed in this hotel during a tour of Ireland for three days. The good: The location was convenient to a walkable shopping plaza which was certainly helpful. It included a Lidl, ASDA, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, petrol station and more. There was a small bar within the hotel as well as dinner was available. There was a breakfast included that consisted of the traditional breakfast staples such as eggs, sausages, bacon, cereal etc. The room itself was of a decent size for two people. The bathroom was also decent and the beds comfortable. There is a small vending machine and a small ice machine located near the elevator. The meh: One staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful while I found another one to not be quite as friendly. The heat in our room was not working however a trip to the front desk to remind them and they turned the switch on. The not so good: The smell of the hotel was almost sickening. It was as if they were trying to cover up a moldy smell with a fruity fragrance that truly made it worse. They painted the following day so the fruity moldy smell was mixed with a new paint smell. The bathtub height could be dangerous and someone truly could fall getting out if they were not careful. I am 5’4 and it was a drop for me.

Lovely staff. Location is excellent. Staff very welcoming & helpful. Food selection is basic, but good.

Typical HIE - clean, efficient with a good wifi connection. The fair sized room was warm, quiet, with tea and coffee facilities, ample desk, bedside sockets and small tv. The bathroom clean and the shower powerful. There are basic restaurant facilities and a small bar. It is located near an out of town shopping centre and there is ample dedicated free parking. Located next door is a food shop and across the road there are two restaurants. A basic cooked breakfast is included. There was no safe in the room.

First time in a HIE and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff are very welcoming here and WiFi actually works (compared to another hotel brand), which worked perfectly for me and my work. Highly recommend with everything you need conveniently close by.

Due to the special nature of my work, I have to go to two cities in a week. In the meantime, I booked two hotels, respectively called Downhill House and Holiday Inn Express Antrim - M2, JCT.1, an IHG Hotel at Ballymena Road M 2 Jct.1. Their sanitary conditions are good and the service is very thoughtful that makes me very satisfied.

Very clean modern hotel. Excellent service from lovely staff who provided a very warm welcome & were very helpful. Nice, spacious clean room, serviced daily, with TV, sofa, large desk & chair work station, shower with toiletries & face tissues. The cherry on the cake for us was they have an iron & small ironing board in the room, as we had vacuum packed our clothes this was a great touch. Great Irish breakfast, with continental available too, on our last day we had to leave at 5am as our flight had been moved, the reception arranged a taxi to the airport and reassurred us we could have continental breakfast before we kept (unlike other hotel chains who have a set start time for breakfast). The hotel has an ice machine in the hallway, nicely furnished & decorated lounge & dining area. Loved our stay here and when we return to Antrim we will definitely be returning.
