The showers were filled with bugs other than that pretty good

Perfect for the kids, the smaller pool was lovely and warm unlike other swimming baths in the area. Nice little baths however the smell of urine in the changing room area is very over powering and can even be smelt when you’re in the pool. Other than that great pool.

Lovely little pool, very warm & offers baby/toddler swim sessions. My 3 children have started taking swimming lessons here and are all doing really well, lessons are reasonably priced and include swim cards giving access to the pool outside of lessons for free. The home portal let's me log in and see their progress too. Very impressed with the swim teachers as my little boy was very nervous but he had him in the water and not crying within minutes on his first lesson

Great swimming pool. Steam room is also decent. However the cleanliness of the toilet and changing area needs improvement.

I swim at the leisure centre every week and have for at least 15 years. Yes it could do with a bit of T.L.C. but I have never encountered some of the issues that are in the reviews. The staff are always friendly and nice. It isn't one of those leisure centres that are impersonal , it's a lovely place that does what it says on the pack and provides for your uses. I have never used the gym but it always seems busy Love it there !

Good local facility: a gym and two pools The work on the building is the boilers and heating system being replaced by what will hopefully be a greener and cheaper system. The place needs a bit of a scrub n facelift Friendly professional staff

The kids swimming lessons are okay but the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities could be improved, such as toilets and the changing rooms. The toilets are usually in poor condition, needing a Good clean and bleach. The soap always needs topping up too.

Good for swimming but not excellent

I have been coming here for a few years and although I have been to other swimming baths too, I prefer it here at Darlaston. Yes, it is a bit shabby and could do with a refurbishment, but I like it how it isn’t as busy as other places. Other swimming baths might be newer and bigger, but they are also rammed full of people. The set up here is different but again, I like it. There are no separate changing rooms for men and women. You don’t need this though, as there are cubicles which you can use. When you are in the main swimming pool, the small pool is right next to it and you can see reception and the cafe seats from the pool too. I think this is ideal for parents/guardians who are waiting for children who have swimming lessons. Everything is on one level so there are no stairs or steps (wheelchair friendly). If you have a problem, it doesn’t take you ages to get to reception, as this is a few seconds away from wherever you are. There is also a small steam room, a gym, lockers (£1 which you get back), hair dryers, cubicle showers and a free big car park. The staff are always very friendly and so are the regular customers. This place offers other activities too, such as children’s parties.
