   Just got home from staying at Lower Marsh Farm. I booked a Solo Traveller with Dog retreat and it was perfect from start to finish! I didn’t want to leave! Olivia is great, nothing is too much trouble and she really makes you feel at home. I chose to have evening meal provided and Chris’s cooking is yummy! I had my first attempt at paddle boarding, all organised and we had so much fun! I stayed in Orchard Cottage which was ideal and the hot tub was heavenly! This is a real gem of a place to stay and I can’t wait to return! Thank you!

   We stayed in Orchard Cottage, a little one bedroom cottage next to the main farmhouse. It's all on one floor and the bed is in the lounge with a fold out sofa bed as well. It's done to a high standard, very similar to holiday let's by the National Trust. The farm is in two adjacent courtyards, mostly converted to holiday accommodation. It's all well presented, and the location is great. There's a few miles of narrow lanes to reach the farm, but it's only a 15 minute drive to a supermarket. We did a foraging course with Joanne on the farm, which was fantastic - a short walk through the woods to find and eat some of the plants growing all around. The hot tub was great, right by the back door and private enough, although the peacocks might wander over. All very easy and low key. Lovely!

   This review is of orchard cottage. Everything is good except it's not very private on the inside as the bathroom doesn't lock there is no separation between bed (I do mean bed as it is just a bed in the living room with a side table for both and living room and you cant lock the front door from the inside Edit 1 : after 1 night I can say it's a lot better than expected but the sofa bed is not the most comfortable. The wisteria outside the window of the cottage is beautiful and it is very clean except for the cobwebs . The hot tub is good and very comfortable the garden is not private or usable for its size. I loved the location and the view the shop is good but the games room is lacking

   Visited here as part of the Discovery Project women's retreat. Loved every second. Recommend it wholeheartedly. The yurt was lovely. The peacocks and ducks were so cute. Hot tub was nice too! Food was delicious!! All vegan and gluten free. A dreamy place to be.

   Oh yes. This place has it all! Lovely hot tub, has clean facilities. Lovely views and animals to play with (ducks and chickens, peacocks) loads of activities including: tennis, bike rides, sand pit, basketball hoop, play area, and lots to do in the local area. Fab place totally recommend. ♡♡♡

   Absolutely fantastic place. We had a brilliant week's holiday despite the weather! Beautiful accommodation with sweet and useful welcome basket. Great walks straight from the doorstep including down to the estuary. Loved all the ducks, peacocks, Highland cattle and wildlife. We saw an owl fly over us while sitting in the hot tub which was amazing! We also watched numerous bats and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved hanging out in the hammock and even had our own little Wimbledon in the tennis court! The owners are lovely and we had a great chat with Olivia about all things farm. I particularly loved the focus on recycling and using green cleaning and washing up products. We could enjoy our holiday with a warm fuzzy feeling that we weren't having a negative impact on the environment! Cannot recommend highly enough. Dog friendly which is the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back
