We enjoyed a lovely stay in Heather Barn at Kernock Cottages. The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The underfloor heating is very efficient and the cottage is cosy and warm. There was a very generous welcome pack which was much appreciated and Damien showed us around the cottage on arrival. Damien & Louise are the perfect hosts, letting their guests enjoy their holiday but on hand if needed. The grounds are fabulous with a central area fenced for exercising dogs. Our two Golden Retrievers loved running around. There is a private hot tub, which we didnβt need but itβs there for anyone who wants one. We enjoyed a very nice meal in the local pub, The Weary Friar, which is a short distance from Kernock Cottages. As we were only staying for a short break we visited Bodmin Moor and Golitha Falls. We definitely highly recommend Kernock Cottages to anyone looking for a luxury, dog friendly holiday cottage.

We have stayed at Kernock twice, first in Heather Barn (Easter) and then in Owl Barn (Feb half term) and had a fantastic time on both occasions. Damian and Louise couldnβt have been more helpful and obliging in settling us in and recommending places to visit. They even invited us to join them in the dog field to throw the ball for their lovely pet. Both the Barns were really comfy, cosy and had lovely touches of luxury - the hot tubs were a fabulous treat, especially in Owl Barn where it looked over the most beautiful views. Lots of great outdoor space for our active boys to play ball games in. No problem getting Waitrose deliveries to the door of both barns either. We would 100% recommend visiting Goliatha Falls and Inkieβs Smokehouse (in the car park) - even in Feb they were stunning, as well as The Adrenalin Quarry and the River Dart Country Park. Friendly pub in walking distance and lots of stunning walks in the area. Now we have a dog of our own to enjoy all the dog-friendly options. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in Kernock cottages Coach House. It is so tranquil and very comfortable. All you can hear is birdsong!A piece of heaven for both humans and dogs! Our Setter absolutely loved the freedom of the 6acre enclosed Central Bark! The perfect place to reset and take a break from life's chaos!

We absolutely loved our week stay in Owl Barn. The cottage was perfect for our family, where the kids are now adults. We wanted for nothing as the cottage and grounds are fabulous. There is so much to Kernock Cottages, not least rounding off a great day with sunsets in the hot tub. Luxury

We were looking for somewhere very dog friendly and with EV chargers, Kernock Cottages did not disappoint. Our standard poodle Theodore had a great week, the enclosure areas allowed him to run around freely. We used the hot tub every day, superb to watch the sun go down. Very relaxing. Great pub within 15 minutes walk, some nice vegetarian food options. We visited 2 of the dog friendly beaches and did a few walks as we were fortunate to get great weather in April. Highly recommended.

Just wish I could give more than 5 stars. We booked the Coach House, and it was fabulous. The accommodation was spotless, well-presented and wonderfully comfortable. The enclosed garden was great for the dog, but the 6 acre fully-enclosed Central Bark was a revelation. He just ran and ran, and then wondered why we weren't panicking and calling him back! Damian our host was wonderful. He was just the right amount of attentive, giving us great tips when we first arrived on places to visit, and then leaving us alone unless we needed anything. We are already wanting to go back, and hope to do so very soon.

Great place to stay. So dog friendly with access to an entire, fully enclosed, paddock. All facilities in the cottage were good quality including quality hot tub. Great location as well with easy access to the south coast. Will be booking the place for a return visit.

We had the best time and so did the dogs, so friendly and well equipped kitchen. They left toys & treats for the dogs on arrival, the host was very friendly and was quick to respond (very helpful) definitely be returning. Had no issues at all even the other guests staying next to us where so welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay in Heather Barn in June 2021, the cottage was spotlessly clean. Beth called us to say the cottage was ready earlier than expected, as we were not far away we drove straight there. The gardens of Heather Barn were huge, our dog enjoyed terrorising the local rabbits. We were very grateful for the comprehensive welcome pack that even included dog treats and a Covid pack of hand wipes and hand sanitizer. Welcome Bark the dog exercise area was well maintained and had a woodland walk as well as field walks, all fenced. I strongly recommend this cottage and company.
