Not a great experience. I an having a skin flare up (I think eczema but it also fits several / new described conditions) and asked for mild Hydrocortisone cream . I was asked where the condition was, I gave a full description some of which was quite personal but included areas on my face and ears At the mention of 'face' I got the 'computer says no answer, some sharp intake of breath and sent on my way like a young boy trying to buy beer. Just for context I am a 74 YO who has lived with various skin conditions most of my life and have learnt to manage my condition. Surely the answer should have been, ' would you like to speak to the pharmacist '. I

Don’t bother going into this store if you need advice. It’s not something they are any good at. Mainly because they don’t ask questions. Find a different pharmacy. Great place to go if you are collecting a daily prescription. It seems the staff like these customers. I’m not going back

Use this store quite a lot because I work in town, went in this morning and was waiting for the lady to finish filling her babies dummies .. and waited .. and waited ... she knew I was waiting because she turned around and said bye to someone who just took there medication, I left items on the counter nipped next door to super drug where the guy stopped what he was doing and served straight away. Unless there was a mad rush for babies dummies before 10am she should have put a paying customer first like we all have to in these tough times.

Really kind and empathetic staff who are really helpful , good service you no longer get in most parts of the country, where staff are more detached from serving , unwell, or needy people , it's refreshing

I went to the pharmacy department to ask a personal question, and the woman there said “noooo” in my face and stared at me like I was stupid and made me feel uncomfortable, and then she laughed at me as I said Thankyou and I was still being polite, as i walked away, very rude.

I've stopped going here because of an extremely unfriendly shop assisstant-- short woman with glasses. For instance-- I bought a bag of popcorn, realised the seal down the length of the pack was open as I left the shop, quickly went back to this woman and asked to exchange for a sealed one-- "Are you sure YOU didn't open it?!" Not only would this be incredibly difficult to do, as it wasn't along the top or bottom, but rather the back of the pack, why would I even bother to do that? Next time I'm in, I'm near the counter, but haven't walked up to it as I was on the phone to my Mum. "Can I help?" She asks whilst I was mid-sentence... I replied "no, thank you". She didn't look happy about that? I missed how much she said my shop had come to, so asked her to kindly repeat it "erm, it should say on the card reader now" she said it really abruptly. She's always rude and short with me. I've worked in customer service for many years and this is not how you do it, folks.

A very poor service a senior member of the team refusing to assist their own member of staff who seemed inexperienced at the tills but screamed at her and made her cry in my presence as I walked away after being overcharged by the young girl with no refund given .I left the shop to protect the young girl from the shame ,bullying and embarrassment she went through just for being inexperienced.I can say zero rating for BOOTS new George Street Plymouth.

Arrived today for flu jab booked mid August only to be told they couldn't do my age group before 15th Oct. In actual fact they can't give me an appointment for over a month! Asked why they didn't advise me of restrictions when I made booking (to save people wasting their time). Unable to give an explanation

Such a shame that there is no zero rating or even minus. This chemist is horrendous!! Never before I have been treated or disrespected so badly, especially by the so called professional pharmacist. This lady would benefit from not only retraining in her profession( not a clue what she was doing and totally lacking in knowledge about the simplest of medical facts) but most certainly in any form of customer interaction. Staff behind counter also just CAN'T BE BOTHERED with any enquires about products or stock. I.e. if you can't find it, it's out of stock or no longer available. WORST SERVICE and CHEMIST I have ever visited!!! Should be closed or totally restaffed.
