Embarrassing. I went in for a giftcard and £1 cookie I double checked the price and it did NOT say members only. I got to pay and it costs £2 but I'm so starved I buy it anyway. Then a worker comes over saying his colleague is in the bathroom and will be out in 2 mins for me to buy my giftcard. THIRTY MINUTES PASS and I'm about to leave when she finally comes, I accidentally use the wrong card and immediately she tells me to leave the line so she can help other customers despite me already getting the other card out. Purchasing here will drain you.

Well stocked but not sure after the customer next to me was pointing out to the staff that she’d just seen mice scurrying around. Eek - they saw it, they said it, please sort it!

Horrid delivery service and it isn’t even the drivers fault. Always missing some items

A peice of advice when someone orders food on deliveroo it would be really helpful when you're planning not to send all of the items that at least you could have placed an obvious meal in there. I now have to find another shop that will hopefully do that. Not impressed at all.

June 2025 Same issues remaining. One staff on till at lunch-time as 10 customers waited, four people needing assistance on self-checkout. Prices still wrong. May 2025 Understaffed and understocked. Staff are miserable. Products are more expensive than other shops. Also some prices are wrong e.g 80p choc bars scanning at 1.05.

Decently stocked but staff need better training- one of the male staff members came running after me in the street tapping my shoulder because he thought I left without paying, despite the lady at the front desk saying I had. Didn’t even get an apology from the fool.

A welcome alternative to the two upper-market supermarkets in the downstream half of Lordship Lane SE locale. Great for the swift, brief, pop in, pay and pop out early-afternoon transaction as in my case. I loved it and hope to do it again, soon.

It's been refurbed and almost everything is behind a glass door. Which is probably for the product and energy. Just makes it harder to see what you are looking for? Otherwise they have a decent range of products and nice offers. Loads of self checkout tills. The John Lewis pick up options is great.

I used to think good about the co op, until I decide to buy there online. I had a bad experience, they overcharg everyone 10% extra in case they decide without your autorization to buy more expensive products for what you buy. I paid 89 pounds but because there weren't all the products I chose online the receipt was 73. Then the 16 pounds are in the account of the Co Op and I still waiting after many days for them to return them to me.

One of my favourite stores. Has a relaxed retro vibe. 80s background music. Well stocked & good value. Nice friendly staff. Self checkouts are easy to use, the membership card gives you points & vouchers with every shop :)
