Wanted to say a huge thank you to Collingham vets for their care of our sweet cat, Ron Weasley, during the last year of his life and for providing a peaceful and warm background to his last moments with us. If I could give 100 out of 10 I would!
Very knowledgeable, friendly and experienced staff, caring and listen to you and your dogs needs. Never hurry at the appointments and I feel very confident and trust the vets expertise here. Highly recommend. Value for money.
Moved here from a well know vets and couldn’t be more happier, friendly and very helpful staff who listen to mine and my pets needs. Even though I have to travel from Southwell it’s worth it! Been looking for a small, personable vets since Mr Owen retired and I have found it. Good pricing too-also tbey will offer you a prescription so you can purchase meds yourself. Win win.
When we moved to Tuxford about a year ago we could not find a local avian vet. Collingham veterinary practice came up as close to us and we registered and they treated our English Budgie for a lump which was caused by his companion pulling out his tail feathers. We followed there advice and all was well until a few weeks ago when he had become unwell and what tail feathers he had fell out and exposed a horrible raw swelling. We rang Collingham vets and they gave us immediate advice over the phone as we could not get to them until 2 days later. When we arrived we thought we were coming home without him. The vet who treated him was so knowledgable and kind. We followed his instructions and went back a week later. Boris responded to the treatment really well and our vet had also researched possible causes and was able to give us advice on his diet and care. Boris is getting on in budgie years, but we know he will be well cared for in his senior years by Collingham veterinary practice. There are no avian vets close to us, but I cannot recommend Collingham vets any more highly and I cannot thank them enough for not giving up on him and taking the time to research possible causes and being able recommending things we could do to keep him healthy.
Excellent vets! They have gone above and beyond for me and my Guinea pigs more than once. Always friendly, professional and caring.
Great vets. We turned up unannounced due to a bit of an emergency with one of my Springers. The problem was sorted in half an hour. Very friendly people, very professional.
My mum and I have always used this vet surgery. The staff are so friendly. Dan is always making me laugh and he helped me find a good cat food as one of my cats needs a special diet. All of our pets have been taken there over the past 20 years+ and everyone makes you feel welcome and comes to say hello to your pets. You can tell these people really care about animals and really put in a lot of effort and they always remember you.
Fidus came inside limping with a swollen face so rung Collingham Vets and within 15 minutes I was being seen by Catherine. Lovely staff! Can really tell they care about the animals they see. Thank you again. Fidus is now lay upside down fast asleep!
Lovely caring and exceptional vets. Our girl had to go in for a minor op and I could rest easy knowing she was in the best hands.
