Roughstones are so caring.. We have just had 2 weeks' holiday and have returned to find our Bulldog looked after very well. She was happy, clean and well fed. She also has medical needs and all these needs were taken care of. A fantastic place! Thankyou soooooo much.
It's the first time Bella has been put in kennels, she was well cared for, the staff are lovely and friendly. You can tell they love dogs. Would definitely use them again.
Our dog stayed at Roughstones for 2 weeks recently whilst we were on holiday. She seemed very happy there and has been looked after very well. The staff are all lovely and seem to genuinely love the dogs. Very reasonable prices. Used to bring our previous dog here too and she was always happy. Would definitely recommend.
I live in kegworth and just be aware your dogs are left to bark and howl the place down from around 6am until at least 10am. Dogs are obviously in distress for whatever reason but the people there clearly are not bothered. Must be a tough place for dogs to try and relax with that noise. The fact it just goes on for hours and hours tells you there not being cared for properly. I understand dogs bark but for 4/5hours continously? There needs are obviously just not being met. No wonder the reveiws say dogs come out shaken up because they dont get a minute of peace whilst staying here. Based on this alone, I'd never take my dog here.
Left our 4 dogs at Roughstones whilst we went on holiday & they were well looked after. They hadn't put on weight n were in good, clean, freshly washed condition when we picked them up. The price was very reasonable & we would definitely use Roughstones again in the future.
Amazing kennels and will forever be happy to leave my dog with them! Would recommend massively….also great experienced staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Both our dogs love staying at Roughstones. Whenever we take our two they always run to see Harriet and give her a big wet kiss.
This place is great if you want your dog to be boarded here, staff are very professional and friendly, they really look after my dog. He’s always happy when I pick him up. Prices are really good too and it includes food. Highly recommended roughstones kennels
Shame I cant leave 0 stars! I will never use this place again or reccomend it! Poor dog was dragged out when collected on his back legs, eyes bulging, red hot and soaking wet where he had been hosed down after turning up a day early to collect with no notice. He was so agitated we struggled to get him in the car. He smelt disgusting so did his bed and toys we took in for him. He has scratches all over his face which I think are from the enclosure and being in there the whole week without being walked as they admitted they struggled yet when we phoned to check on him in the week they said everything was fine! He also came out with more food left than he should of after a week stay, hes lost weight & his wee was bright yellow! Dog hasn't been himself since and has had the worst diarrhoea ive ever seen so awaiting a vets appointment where I'll be telling them I believe this is from his stay here!
Been boarding our dogs here for four years and always had a positive experience.Girls are all Lovely and my dogs love going there for a holiday.This time we only boarded Kipper as our holiday accommodation allowed one dog and when we drove into the kennels Poppy was so excited to see the place she wanted to stay too! Kipper was well looked after and I can always leave my dogs here without any worries as it’s the dogs holidays also.
