Worst vet I have ever seen in my life today. I took my heavily pregnant cat in for a worm and flea treatment, a vet named Matthieu saw her, and yes I will name and shame because this man should not be practicing! He man handled my poor girl right out of the box, no care given that she was pregnant at all, grabbed her, lifted her completely wrong, she was terrified, he then had no idea what flea treatment was safe, I had to go on chat GPT to search for one he could prescribe, he left the room about 4 times to go ask the nurse questions because he was absolutely useless and could not answer my questions, then he gave me a sachet of wormer, I said he was supposed to be worming her with panacur, he left the room again! Came back a syringe and once again grabbed my poor girl so roughly he then proceeded to squirt it in the completely wrong way in her mouth and only a small bit went in, he covered her face and all over her front fur in the panacur and she actually went for him, she is a ragdoll! Gentlest cat in the world I have never seen her go for anyone EVER! At this point I got very cross and took her away from him! The actual stress that must of caused her, if there is any chance he hurt her kittens or her health, they will have a lawsuit on there hands! And just to add insult to injury when I came out and complained about him to the receptionist, she told me he has had a lot of complaints, gave me an email address to complain to and then tried to charge me £96!!!! Absolutely disgusting, I walked out with no prescription, no worm and a very stressed little fur baby! I will NEVER go back there and advise anyone not to use this vet, I’m pretty sure he is not qualified and should 100% not be taking care of peoples pets.

Had to use this vets as an out of hours emergency service after my dog was hit by a car. They saw him straight away and everyone who helped me and him were absolutely lovely and so compassionate. Great vet practice.

My dog was taken ill whilst on holiday and I had to find a vet immediately. From the initial phone call where the receptionist Olivia was kind & efficient, to being fitted in very quickly and then the excellent care and understanding offered by the vet Alison Parish meant so much and I was really impressed at the level of service. Of course, like many people, I find the costs of appropriate treatment very high, but do not think the charges were excessive in any way - it's just a shame that prices prohibit further investigation. However, Alison the vet was very sympathetic to this, and offered alternatives and suggestions and gave me time and understanding both in the consultation and in the phone call afterwards. Both myself and my poorly dog were treated so well and this is an excellent vet practice which I highly recommend.

Just leaving a review after our positive experience today. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and the vet we saw (Allison) was clearly extremely knowledgeable and very gentle handling our guinea pig, Rocky. She talked us through his thorough examination and laid out the treatment options for his care as well as the pros and cons. We left feeling very reassured by the consultation and would definitely return in future. We also found the price of the visit and meds to be very reasonable.

Fantastic surgery. Staff always lovely and help to save money where possible. Very clear on pricing and about middle range which is more then acceptable for such a surgery. Very caring and himan to deal with

Unfortunately have to change my review. What started as a great service, ended up our worst nightmare! We were told after our girl passed we could see her in the vets, so after getting ready and going we were told "we're really busy today" but spent 23 mins in the car park telling me "her legs may be stiff in the air", "she won't look very nice as she'll be decomposing", "it'll be distressing as she'll be in a state" to which I replied no problem I'll only be 2 mins, I've been told I can see her so I'd like to see her.. the woman continued to put me off with quite distressing as she should of been positioned properly upon being put in the freezer as she would of gone stiff which means that care wasn't taken in how she was placed upon passing. I can't understand how they said I could then they were to busy but had 23 mins to put distressing thoughts and images in my head. They then recommend Valley Pet Cremation services, who took over 2 weeks to get our cremation sorted with as there was constant issues with phone lines and emails, upon attending it was absolutely disgusting, she was in a plastic bed in the front doorway, with a muddy blanket on her, no seating and was NOT what we were told. The building was empty, we took multiple photos. Unfortunately our last memories of our beloved girl are now tainted. Our goodbye was traumatic and our last few minutes with our girl were heartbreaking. Once again they've rang and told us we were meant to be collecting our girl today and she's been "forgotten" and now we won't have her till THURSDAY. How do you forget someone's pet? The money we've paid isn't the main issue but the memories, stress. We asked for clippings of her fur.. she had random patches all along her back side, not done with any care or consideration.. we took photos as we were absolutely distraught with how she had been shaved, chunks taken out her back not in a straight line or neatly at all, she looked like a toddler had been let loose with a clipper, when we complained to the cremation service they denied all responsibility as even they agreed it was shocking! What started out as a great service has now left us with such traumatising memories.

the receptionist here barely look up from their desk when you walk in the door. I've never known a veterinary practice to take as long to dispense flea and worming medication - we had to wait three days which seems insane at excruciatingly high prices. They wanted to see my dog for an annual check up before they gave me worming meds, they said this would be free of charge however, this came at an inconvenient time, I was working days and partner was working away so nobody around to take the dogs for a check-up. So the dogs had to go without. When I finally got the chance to take the dogs they tried to charge me saying that it was my fault because I'd booked in with the wrong type of vet. The vet we did see seems very nervous and didn't really want to touch the dog. I had to argue my point in reception which I found very stressful. Eventually they said they would let me off as a Goodwill gesture even though they stated the appointment would be free and it was so I could get the medication. I should also add that the vets that saw the dog seems very nervous and didn't check the dog over at all all just looked from a distance. No no checking of teeth, no checking of gums, no checking of heart, no checking of ears and the things you may expect from a common check up... and that's what they wanted to charge for.

We had to take our puppy to see a vet, emergency late night appointment they were extremely accommodating. Looked after the puppy very well, thoroughly checked her over and cared for her and we felt extremely confident with the information we were given. We were so grateful for the service at such short notice and they made me and my children feel so much better ❤️ Thank you so so much ❤️
