Fantastic pub. Went as a group of four and there was an excellent choice of food on the menu and the specials board. The service was superb and the staff were friendly. The food was extremely tasty a d filling. A good choice of drinks. Will return when I'm next in the area.
Drake Manor Inn is a pleasant place to visit, and we have done many times over the years. So why the 5* review? The food! We only stopped for a snack... Tomato soup for the adults and loaded fries for our daughter... And it was all SO good! I never thought I'd rave about tomato soup and bread, but how wrong I'd have been! It was spicy and smokey and packed with flavour! I'll stop there, because it was just soup and breadv after all... But if the rest of the menu is as good as this we'll certainly be eating here again very soon!
Fabulous welcome to this exquisite village pub. We were a party of 4 and all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I had the fish and prawn curry followed by the vanilla cheesecake and it was delicious. Great place to visit.
We really enjoyed our lunch in the pub. Food was delicious, and there were great vegetarian options. I recommend the vegetarian ploughman’s. Service was excellent, and the village was charming. Thank you!
Very pretty village. Both food and the service were excellent! Very relaxing and cozy environment. If I had lived locally I would definitely come here every week to grab a drink or a meal.
Visited on spur of moment. Had spectacular lunch of venison sausages, mash & gravy that was like a food on its own. Will be back again! Real old school pub with character.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast. I had the beef roast and the portion was very generous with three thick cuts of meat, spot on vegetables and roasted potatoes and a big Yorkshire pudding, with plenty of gravy. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. The dessert menu looked amazing but I didn't have any because the roast was so satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Not been in for a while. Glad to say as good as always. Nice friendly service and good pub atmosphere. Delicious and delightful lunch.
