   I've been going to Leigh at Darkside Piercing and Laser for the past five years. He’s incredibly professional and friendly, and a fantastic piercing artist. He gives objective advice about piercing placement and jewellery, and he checks in with you multiple times throughout the piercing process. He has a wide range of beautiful hand-picked pieces in his jewellery cabinet. His aftercare is comprehensive and he is always open to questions if you have any after the appointment. Every experience I’ve had with Leigh has been amazing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my piercings.

   Leigh is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He talks you through the entire process including pre piercing sterilisation of all his kit and your chosen jewellery. Definitely recommend Dark side piercing.

   Amazing piercing studio. Leigh was so great with my nervous 10 year old daughter. He made her feel so at ease. He communicated so well during each stage of the piercing and made the whole experience really fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone with children getting their ears pierced! He’s fantastic!

   I've received a couple of piercings from Leigh, now, and the experience has always been positive. He's calm, friendly and very informative, clearly taking great pride in his work and the aftercare of every piercing. The studio area is clean and well presented and the atmosphere is very relaxed.    Finally got booked in to see Lee after a few recommendations and understanding he has a lovely reputation as a piercer. Been in contact for a while over insta for some advice before finally booking in. Was hoping to get a septum. Felt very comfortable with him, we had good chats as we were getting ready and he was measuring my nose to check it would be straight. Sadly he discovered that my septum anatomy was different to a lot of peoples and it wouldn't be possible to put a good piercing in so after feeling around to double check, honestly recommended not going ahead with it. I was disappointed but grateful for his knowledge and honesty - a lot of other piercers could have just shoved it through despite it hitting some thicker skin and causing issues later on! As we were all ready and in the chair though we managed to get my conch pierced instead, another one I'd been wanting for a while. It was quick and comfortable. We had a good chat about some jewellery to change it with in the future and also further piercing plans. Leigh is a professional who is passionate about his work, enjoys interacting with his customers and wants to pierce as quickly, safely and comfortably as possible. I'm so grateful that I found out the easy way from him genuinely looking out for my well-being that a septum piercing on me would cause me too much discomfort. I highly recommend him for any piercings, especially if you're a bit nervous and it's in a more painful or difficult area. I had the least amount of nerves I think I've ever had and I've had many piercings over my life :) Thanks Leigh! See you again hopefully soon!
