Came in yesterday evening to get fireworks and Connor was really helpful! He was so knowledgeable about all the fireworks and helped us make the best choice! He was also super friendly and made us laugh lots. Connor has wonderful customer service skills and was a delight to talk to!

Absolutely the worst Range we have ever visited, 15minutes late opening yesterday morning Sunday 30-11-25. Virtually no staff about apart from one chap who opened the door at 10.15am. The store was an absolute tip, stock & boxes everywhere, accidents waiting to happen, shelves were in a right mess, nothing where it should be! The worst bit was the toilets, filthy mess everywhere, clearly not been cleaned or toilet paper replaced in quite a few days, absolutely disgusting to say the least. Definitely won’t visit again or recommend.

Called into the store on Saturday, wanted the toilet while here, OMG ,they were duscusting, Went to find a member of staff to tell her, she didn't seam to care. Said she would find the store cleaner , watched her walk of ti find her down the next isle chatting easy to another member of staff obviously nothing better to do

1st time visiting the store and possibly my last sadly as they have lots of great items in stock. T oilets were awful. Considering they had only been open an hour. Hourly cleaning sheet hadn't been filled out for days. Does this mean the toilets hadn't been cleaned for days? By they amount of empty toilet roll holders around, I would say yes. Que was very long, 3 staff on tills but no signs of any more coming.

Visited the in-store cafe today (Friday 26/9/25). One young lady on her own covering everything, but she was a credit to your cafe and the store. Top marks and I hope she gets the praise she fully deserved, as the cafe was fairly busy.

Easy to park. Large warehouse style store with too little signage and not enough staff to ask for directions. Had most of what we wanted, just had to traipse about a lot to find it

Easy access into this vast shop. Loads of things for your home, garden and DIY. Quite a lot of craft supplies but nowhere near the choice they used to have. The cafe was clean and the staff were helpful and polite.

I love The Range but it can be dangerous as there are just so many lovely things, it's easy to get carried away. I go with a decisive list and go straight to the relevant departments to avoid impulse purchases and getting lost in the cluttered store. I also go first thing in the morning so there's not loads of people getting in my way and the queue to pay is short and not 15 minutes plus to wait. Unfortunately over the last few years like most food/department stores the staff levels have been cut ridiculously tight and to be fair most of the good staff have left. If you need help with anything good luck trying to find a member of staff and if you do find one it's not their department and they can't help! You need to go to customer service for help but they are also being used as a till point so you have to queue to get there. The loos are not great and the cafe has seen better days but the ladies who work in the cafe are great and they have a sense of humour. Whatever you buy open the box and check the content before you go home. Twice I've not checked and had bits missing. They are a nightmare to get help on the phone and I live 45 minutes from the store so it takes half my day to go and get sorted (as you have to join the queue for the customer service desk). Having said all that The Range is a great place, they have an amazing selection of goods. I love sewing and they have the best range of haberdashery and net curtains in Exeter in my opinion. The last hurdle you will encounter is queueing to exit onto Alphington Road. The traffic lights change really quick and nobody seems to know who has right of way.

Lots of choices here for all the house and a few items of food. I popped in for a new pillow and picked one up for £11.99, not too bad. Had a walk around and saw a cafe and toilets for customers. Not as big a food choice as the Range in Plymouth, but if you need food there is an Aldi and Iceland just across the car park.
