Nice walk we did 3 miles out and back, but you can go to Holywood. On a plesent day.

Great place for a swim or out on the paddle board. Water crystal clear.

Visited Brompton Bay for the first time in June and was very impressed. Having sea dipped/swim in helens bay etc this bay was fab! Opportunities to jump in and there was an actual ladder into the water too which was ace! Not much in terms of facilities here and parking isn't brilliant but it's beautiful and the water was great.

This little alcove was great for a few minutes of being able to sit on the beach. We enjoyed seeing the swimmers braving the cold and had a lovely backdrop of the castle. There's no parking, though, so you will need to park in the road and trek it. But it's still worth a stop. There's a lovely walking path along the sea.

It is a beautiful and quite sage swim as it quite protected. at the end of the rocks there is a set of steps with hand rail, when the tide is high you can’t see it, but it’s still easy to get into the water. The tidal strength is quite weak but can surge. One can reach by car or can walk on costal path along with water. Must try that walk. You will sure love it. Good place for taking photographs and making reels. Just take care of your steps as it is stone area.

Nice walk but path on towards Crawfordsburn is closed at moment so you have to divert

Lovely place for a walk, or if you're up for a dip. It's also the place I proposed to my wife. NICE!

Great place to stop and take a dip, even if it’s just your toes!

A great swimming spot for those who like to swim in deep water. Beautiful sheltered, rocky Cove with the legendary Jenny Watts cave, a stone jetty and a disappearing sandy beach.
