My my my … everything you ever wanted in a restaurant in one place! My fav so far in ask of East Sussex! Decor, service, atmosphere, food, uniqueness…. Menu is international, vegan, vegetarian… anything you want! A MUST.
Been here a few times, my go to place whenever I’m in Lewes. This visit was for lunch. We had to wait 5 - 10 mins for a table as we didn’t book. The food was delicious and service friendly and efficient. There is a great variety of food to choose from including an extensive gluten free and vegan menu. I really like the shabby chic decor which brings a nice cosy feeling to the place. I would say that during busy times it’s very noisy so can be difficult to have a conversation if you’re in the middle of the restaurant, this doesn’t put me off and it shouldn’t you either!
We have been a few times now when in the area and we really enjoy the food. It is fresh and tasty. We always go for the tapas selection and I tried the tiramachoux which was outstanding. The service is always friendly too.
Service was fast and food delicious. Got 3 small tapas plates which was perfect for my appetite. I particularly loved the veggie quesadillas. Also got a free soft drink with it (tapas Tuesday). The veggie options are great and diverse. The ambience in the evening is great although the music a bit loud. Great for a meal with a friend!
Excellent place for Brunch/lunch. Busy but nice atmosphere. Lots of veggie/vegan options. Great food. You pay via app or at the bar but that's fine.
We were so pleased we finally got to try this lounge. I think it’s a hidden gem in Lewes. Beautiful ambiance - nice & cozy! Food is delish. They provide service with a smile. The staff are excellent. Their vegan chocolate raspberry torte is a must try! We would definitely come for brunch next time.
Good food at reasonable prices. I really like the "pay first" format: it means you can have lunch in a timely way with no waiting around at the end of the meal.
