I used to live just above the shop; the landlord/seller sometimes cleaned the toilet bowl and went straight to make your fish n chips without washing his hands. Also, he never helped clean the kitchen bin upstairs, creating worms and flies. Well, you decide for yourself if you want to order from him or not.
Highly recommend this place, service was amazing. The man at the front was very friendly and respectful. We got a generous amount of food for very little price. On top of that, the man gave me and all the customers, extra drinks and chips for no cost. Although, the shop doesn't look that modern and needs some work, the food is still delicious and fresh.
It's not swanky and looks like it needs a lick of paint, but the food is tasty with good portions and the service is friendly so you can forgive that.
Affordable food with very filling portions. Really worth the money! Very lovely uncle running the shop as well. I’ll definitely go back to visit from time to time!
I haven't been here in ages because I moved, I really miss this place and wish nothing but success for it. Its my favourite fish and chips in Brighton, everything is spot on.
