I've tried 90 percent of Indian restaurants in Brighton and this hidden gem is my opinion is the best , the food tastes better than everywhere else , these top people cook from the heart and are the warmest and friendliest in the business, experts indeed , big shout out to hassan, top man , this place is a must try!
We’ve been ordering from here for over 10 years and always loved it. Each curry comes with free rice and poppadom, and overall very good prices. Our go-to Indian!
The meal was very good value for money, arrived promptly and the driver was really friendly. The food was lovely, really flavoursome and I’ll definitely order again from here
Terrible food will not be going back! Chicken Tikka main blood red colour and taste nothing like it should. The Sag Paneer tasteless and not enough paneer large sliced onions. Naan bread rice pilau rice not great. Do not recommend this takeaway the food is an embarrassment to Indian cuisine! The only positive I can say that is the service and staff were pleasant. Also kitchen clean.
Banging as always. gone here for many years now and was surprised to see the bad reviews. Ordered anyway and was as good as usual. Remember for a place like this people will usually only write a negative review from a bad experience or mistake and would rarely write one from a good experience. Would recommend
Awful experience. Delivery took 2 hours and was missing part of our order, asked for a refund on the missing item but was offered discount on next order instead and when asked how do we get the discount his reply was “we will remember”.
After using this place for a while (food is great) we made an order this evening, waited for 2 hours and then when we called to find out where our food was we were told the order had been cancelled. We were not notified of this at all. Wasted 2 hours waiting for food that was never coming. Told we have to wait 5-7 days for a refund. You lost a customer today. Shambles.
2hrs to arrive and when it did arrive, stone cold, phoned restaurant to be told next time we order we would get a discount - we just had to remind him. Terrible service and will probably not order from here again or recommend to anyone. The restaurant did not even offer a replacement meal or refund.
I called the restaurant to order food by delivery. The order was tandoori with lamb and king prawns for starter and I confirmed my order more than once over the phone plus I asked the worker to put the cutlery and he already told me don't worry everything will be ok. When the order arrived I couldn't find the cutlery. So the situation very ridiculous because I was in a place where there were no cutlery . So I went outside looking for a place to buy from. Indeed I didn't find it until after a long time, so I ate my food cold. On top of that, they didn't bring me king prawns and it was replaced with a yellow vegan sauce and it tasted very bad. I tried when I received the order to call the restaurant, but no one answered, so I called the delivery and I told him this is not my order as it doesn’t have king prawns. He told me that I was the last order in the restaurant, so maybe the king prwans were replaced with something else because it finished. This thing done by the restaurant is inappropriate, you should have said the king prawns finished. Besides you made me look for cutlery for over half an hour until my food was cold.
Ordered a vegetarian dish, when it came there was a piece of chicken in it! Called them up and they didn't believe me and claimed I'd said the same thing before (I hadn't but it shows it's happened to other people). Do not trust this kitchen! Even if the owner doesn't know about it the chef is taking shortcuts at the customer's expense
