Our family recently discovered Agra Tandoori, and we are so glad we did it. The food is just delicious. We have already tried different dishes and love them all. I can not recommend them enough. I personally like the environment and the service.

I highly recommended this Indians takeaway shop. It's probably the best in Brighton, in my opinion, it's the best. I have tried quite a few of them. Thanks a million, i really enjoyed my meal

We have used The AGRA Tandoori for a number of years and always used to find it reliably good. In fact, I have previously posted that it’s the best Indian takeaway in Brighton. However, last night I ordered a Chicken Xacuti, a Tandoori King Prawn Jalfrezi, two portions of Pilau Rice, a Sag Aloo and a Roti. I asked if the meal came with Poppadoms, “No, Sir, it doesn’t.” “Two of those as well then, please.” When it was delivered there were four Poppadoms! Unfortunately, they all must have been made some while earlier as they were not as crispy as they should be. Unusually, the Roti was the size of a normal Poppadom. It was also closer to a Poppadom than a Roti in terms of texture. A normal Roti can be torn apart, this one though, was very dry and flaked into pieces when trying to do that. It went in the bin, uneaten. The potatoes in the Sag Aloo were of the floury/mashy variety, and we found them very unappetizing. My wife’s Chicken Xacuti was OK, as was the sauce in my Tandoori KP Jalfrezi. There were plenty of prawns in my dish but they were quite tough and chewy. At £42.00, we found it expensive considering the quality, so wont returning any time soon.

Amazing food and service, my first time trying here and I hope to come a lot more. The staff are super kind and accomodating and the food was finished really quickly. The curry was delicious plus the rice and garlic naan was the best I've ever had from a curry takeaway (and ive had a lot haha). The atmosphere is nice and friendly and you can wait inside for you food if you are getting takeaway which is nice if its raining. I cannot fault this place, I would recommend it big time!!

We have used this takeaway a few times now when visiting family in Brighton and it’s always been nice. This weekend was a complete disaster! Being told our food would be ready in an hour by 8.05pm on Saturday night. We arrived to collect it, and waited until 9.20pm. We were told for 45 minutes our order was being packed and wouldn’t be long. At around 9.10pm we decided we’d waited long enough and asked for a refund, we were met with an argumentative staff member who refused to listen to what we had to say but happily answered back. We got home and have to say our order must have been rushed as it wasn’t up to usual standard, luke warm, onion bajis half the size of usual. I left my number and was told management would be in touch and guess what… I’ve heard nothing! Was a rather disappointing Saturday night.

Four different meals, all hot and tasty. Took a long time to be delivered due to how busy they were, Worth the wait

Vegetable fried rice had the biggest and most varied selection of vegetables I've ever had, and the food is very cheap. Would definitely recommend ordering here

Very overpriced curry. Might have been good before but literally as much as a restaurant and way more than other takeaways locally. Doesnt seem much better than any other takeaways, in fact not able to work out any difference to justify costing so much more.

My regular here, I always pop down here after a good session of mountain biking with the best mate. Really great tasting food, full of flavour. Good portion size too!

We read the amazing reviews and was really excited to order from here for the first time. The food was delivered within the 45min slot they gave me, and it tasted phenomenal. We had chicken Kormas with rice, cheesy naan, poppadoms and mango chutney. We will definitely order from here again
