Half the meal was cold. Cutlery was unclean. Glasses were unclean. Chairs were damaged as were seats. Bread was stale. Ice cream was ok. I wouldn't recommend.

Food is pretty bad. The chips are usually recooked and the meat just tastes weird. Its pub prices at below pub standard

Be warned at 5.30pm on a Saturday recently there was :no fish, no Yorkshire puddings, no sweet corn, no elderflower drinks, no kids portions of something else. And we were billed incorrectly as Head Office had changed pricing and quantities but Patcham hadn't got the new menus. Manager dwalt with complaints politely and did reduce bill to match. But what a place to eat! Never again. So that's 11 customers they've lost

DO NOT EAT HERE. In December 2014 I met up with my family from Cambridge, I live in Eastbourne and went for a family meal which was a special occasion which turned into a disaster. After waiting over an hour for our food, which we could not understand as it was very quiet, in COLD surroundings, the heating was off, when we asked for it to go on, we were ignored. Anyway,we all looked forward to our meal, we were so hungry, when it arrived the fajitas had been badly burnt and were inedible, the chips were cold, my sons steak was barely warm, in fact all the food could not be eaten, it was that bad, I give one star, because the manager handled the complaint very well, and all the meals went back and we all left starving hungry. to top it all off the chef in the kitchen got angry and nearly tore the door off its hinges, wow! what a miserable let down. do not go to this place until they change the chef. have sent a letter to head office and three weeks on, still have not had a reply.

Good budget accommodation only if you get the deal price £25 p/n. Full price and the deal looks less inviting.
