   I've been using the shahi for nearly nine years now never a problem through Just Eat, however last night had to be done via them direct which shouldn't have been an issue. But after two phone calls and a load of crap about delivery driver two hours later. Turned it away. I won't use them again now which is a real shame because the food is faultless. Oh well.

   The food tasted good - what we got of it. I would suggest never ordering from here on deliveroo. The packaging is not fit for purpose and everything had leaked into the bag and was stone cold. What we got to eat tasted good but with a kitchen covered in curry and portion size left over big enough for a mouse, not worth the money.

   The food turned up in a bag. Not much was left in the containers so couldn’t tell you whether it was good quality or not. Maybe good if you collect the food but wouldn’t recommend the delivery service. Update- They just blames the courier service and it’s not their fault. I would recommend using better packaging if so many people have the food delivered like this.

   Came for lunch with my daughter. Service was very quick and friendly, the food was hot and tasted great. Have been put off in in chain restaurants before, but really enjoyed this and would go again.

   Four of us had an evening meal this week and found the food to be OK, typical chain. Our waiter was very attentive. It was very noisy due to a large crowd on another table, difficult for us to have a conversation. It was quite a cold evening and there was a draught coming through the large windows alongside our table. Also whenever the door was opened it caused a cold wind to blow through. We were told it's a listed building so although a porch would be helpful, nothing can be done to improve that situation. We would have stayed longer but because it was not cosy decided to move on for desserts and coffee elsewhere.

   We arrived in Brighton after 10:30 Monday. Finding a restaurant open was difficult. This restaurant stayed open while we made our way over. Great food excellent service. Will definitely eat there again. Thanks guys

   Spend one dinner night, I should really thank the entire team for a happy welcoming even at the last minute for closing the shop. Dishes are really good which giving nice aroma of Indian spices and all. One bad thing I noticed was few currys they serve have a common base gravy , which doesn’t make any difference if you order those
