Monday morning flexible hours should be open at 7 still waiting at 7:15 unacceptable really loads of customers now leaving due to waiting

Visited the new Asda café today and it was a complete waste of time. We waited over 30 minutes to be served despite only three tables being in use. When our order was finally taken, we were told 99% of the vegetarian options weren’t available and were even offered a beef burger as a substitute — unacceptable. Staff were completely disorganised. One person took our order and disappeared, another came out confused saying there was no record of it, and after being told there were “loads of jacket potatoes,” we were later told there were none at all. We wasted 45 minutes and left without eating — we were so frustrated we didn’t even do our food shop afterwards. If you can’t provide vegetarian options, don’t advertise them. Absolutely put off not just the café, but the store as a whole.

The first time in my life when I eat a full English breakfast and I go home hungry. They could offer 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast and a bit more of beans, is less than 50p, but people would be happy.

Great Asada and a large assortment of different products. There is bakery, especially glad that there is sushi, of course they are 3 out of 5, but you can eat. There is a cafe where you can eat inexpensively. Probably the best Asda in this area.

15 missing items from click and collect order. Noticed this as soon as I unpacked my shopping at home and double checked what had been ordered (was a big order). Requested a refund only for the missing items and was rejected. Tell me with what money am I meant to replace these missing items? Absolute joke. Not doing a click and collect at Asda again.

Absolute joke Christmas food shopping arrived car park half empty wondered why then saw the queue for trolley’s people following fellow customer back to there cars to get trolleys, you would expect it to be packed inside but no. It’s just they’ve got no trolleys talked to the lad that collects the trolleys he told us they are short of trolleys. I think the manger needs to think if you ain’t got a trolley you ain’t buying much.

Used to love this store. Tonight short of staff, so not one person on the tills. If it wasn't for the fact I'd taken over an hour filling the trolly, I'd have left it there. Seriously, if not enough staff, then get some in. If doing self serve is the way its going, please let your customers know, as half of them will find somewhere else to shop. Some of your staff can change their attitude too, especially the ones supposedly 'in charge!'.

Went in to get some bits after my shift. It was late so the staff were restocking shelves. There were some barriers in place blocking off some isles and produce. As I approached a barrier, looking to see if there was a way around, a member of staff snapped at me "it's blocked for a reason. You can't go there". It is hard to convey over text, but the way that the staff member barked this at me felt patronising and rude, and honestly hit hard after a long shift. I work in customer service too, and I don't think there is ever a reason to talk to customers like that. I was just hoping for some cream for my cake, but I guess not tonight. Overall the store is fine, but blocking off produce and rude staff take a couple stars off for me.
