Four of us met for breakfast this morning. Had a really pleasant young waitress - sorry didn't catch her name. But she was great. We had the small breakfast which was really tasty and more than enough, and the refillable filter coffee. Excellent value we will be back.
On this visit which was on a Tuesday evening, we had to wait an hour and 15mins for our starters to arrive, which coincided with our mains arriving, we were put on a table away from the main dining area even though we had booked weeks in advance, asked for knives which never came, had to go looking for them ourselves in the end, mixed grill had obviously been sitting under the lights and the meat had dried out, no attentiveness from the waiting staff at all, very poor night for this restaurant.
Went early evening for food. Salad Bar was fresh and plenty of options. Food was nice and didn't have to wait long. Our server Hannah was Bubbly, knowledgeable and was popping over checking if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Would return again
£17.50 for THIS? Absolutely unacceptable - avoid delivery at all costs! I just ordered a meal from Harvester Gowerton via Uber Eats, and I’m honestly stunned. I paid £17.50 and this is what I got? A spoonful of mash, a few limp peas and broccoli , and a tiny chunk of meat no bigger than my thumb – and I’m a woman with small hands! Just look at the photo - this is not a meal, it’s an insult. The meat was so small it looked like it had been scraped from someone else’s leftovers. The whole thing looks thrown together with zero care. Whoever packed this should be embarrassed. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but as far as delivery goes, never again ! Total rip-off and a disgrace. I’d give zero stars if I could. P.S. I’ve also added another photo - this one shows how the meal is supposed to look according to their own menu. Compare it to what I actually received… it’s genuinely unbelievable.
Have not been to a Harvester in a long time. No tables as fully booked but plenty of room in the bar area and you could still order from the full menu. Salad bar, cod and chips and bottomless soft drinks. I was stuffed to the gills. There were 5 of us and we all had excellent meals.
Tasty loaded fries with a salad bowl and a cappuccino. I was pleased to see the choices of salad now include olives. The bread roll was quite stale feeling, which was a little disappointing. Otherwise it was all very tasty. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Toilets appeared clean. Lots of parking available.
Very tasty food, well served, amazing atmosphere. Definietly will get back soon.
A very nice place to visit, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful, the food was excellent. Thanks to you all we had a great meal.
