Thank you to the amazing team at SugarBeat for the fantastic Christmas lunch you hosted for our party of 14 today. Our private room looked very festive with all the decorations. The food was delicious, and the staff were brilliant - we couldn't fault them. Many in our group are already planning to come back with their families. Definitely worth a visit!

Decided to stop here for something to eat because it was on the main road on our journey. We didn't need to book. Inside the place resembles an American Diner style with plastic bench seating. Husband chose lamb burger and chips. The lamb burger was obviously not homemade and like an American hamburger with mint sauce strong flavouring. And plain fries. Quite disappointing. I ordered the beef rib, which was better, came with instant mash and some hard purple carrots. Afterwards husband ordered the Special Sugarbeat Restaurant Sundae, it was just ok. Not huge and not outstanding. If you want something to eat which has not been home cooked and you don't mind eating cheap ultra processed food, then this place is ok. On a plus note, the staff were lovely, friendly and efficient, so service was very good. (and the meals only £18 Each).

Antonia and I recently got married at the SugarBeat at the beginning of October and the entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. With how stressful other parts of the wedding planning were, not once did we question the venue such was the excellent job Stevie and the team did. Everything we wanted for the day, including the ceremony location, pizza (delicious and went down a treat!) for the evening, hot chocolate station were all sorted for us. Certainly put our mind at ease as a lot less to worry about! The day and evening itself went perfectly. The team working for the event were amazing, attentive and very helpful. We had lots of guests comment about how well they did as everything ran so smoothly. The marquee and outside bar were superb too - ideal space for the wedding. It really is a lovely place to get married and we would highly recommend it to everyone. The price is incredible and you certainly get more than what you pay for. Thank you all very much for a fantastic day and experience, we appreciate it.

What a wonderful stay at SugarBeat! The restaurant served fantastic food, and a delicious breakfast. The staff were always so polite, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room itself was lovely, cozy and clean, with a large comfy bed and super fluffy towels. Thank you for making us so welcome. We'll definitely return.

Our first choice of local restaurant to celebrate family occasions. The food is always outstanding and the menu choice caters for everyone from young to old. The level of service is excellent and staff are friendly and personable.

I often have breakfast here with friends and have never been let down on my choice. Great choice of food and coffee. Brilliant atmosphere and very clean. Lauren who is usually on duty when I am there is a credit to the company. Very friendly, smart and attentive. She seems to do every job there is going from cleaning the tables to looking after the guests. Excellent all round service.

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Very clean restaurant. The people who I was with all enjoyed their meals and the portion sizes were all good. I had the beef chilli. Again portion size was good but the chilli itself was disappointing. It was served over a large portion of French fries rather then rice and was lacking. No kidney beans and it was really just pieces of mince with cut up pieces of chilli mixed in with some mustard sauce spread over the top which seemed strange. Not what I was expecting and didn't particularly enjoy it
