   First time visitor. Xmas decorations and vibe really good. Service and attention by staff excellent. Dog friendly riverside pub with only a few parking spaces outside. Food was a great letdown. I wouldn't say the menu is World Street Food at all. Quality was poor with limited options and nothing light or good for sharing.

   I dropped in as I was passing and pleased i did. A really nice pub with very friendly staff and customers. I didn't eat and not sure if the do food. But if you want a great place for a quiet pint on a Saturday afternoon this is the place.

   We have eaten here previously and it used to be good but not anymore. Food was poor, staff did not ask if it was ok or asked why we didn’t eat it. The chicken casserole was watery and tasteless. The jacket potato and chilli was barely edible and came with sliced raw carrot and a potion of flora margarine. Needless to say we didn’t not order desert. It was an anniversary meal so very disappointed. We won’t be going back.

   Went on Mother's Day, terrible. Food choices limited even though we were there early lunchtime. My daughter is vegetarian but both choices were sold out. Ended up having a starter with some chips added. I refused to pay for the chips. My roast lamb was inedible, Yorkshire pudding burnt. Only good thing was the river view. Just go for a drink.

   Took some visiting friends! The scampi was lovely with chips, peas, and salad. Shame about the pie which the men had. The base was very hard on both pies! Took some cutting and eating but they did get eaten. Should have left them. Spoiled what was a nice visit. All staff very pleasant though! Would have given 5 stars except for the above reason!

   We were a party of 10 who recently had our xmas meal at the River Garden. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was tasty, hot with decent portions. Special mention to the home made lemon cheesecake which just melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back

   Im so happy with the staff at the river garden, we had a last minute change and needed a space for our quarterly meeting. And they provided food and a warm space not only that and little to my knowledge some of our team required a quiet space and they provided. Great food great team

   Lovely evening at The Rivergarden. We ate outside in what I can only describe as a magical beer garden overlooking the river. A good pub menu offering a good chice and when our food came it was well presented and delicious. At about 8.00 the Paddle Boarders arrived up the river and created a lively, buzzy atmosphere. A great pub!
