   Only recently started coming here, since they became dog friendly. Had Sunday roast today. Food was nice, service friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Connor and Mark are both quick to reply to emails. Thanks guys, will return.

   We initially had other plans for the birthday lunch, but the impromptu change to this venue turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The venue is a hidden gem, with a beautiful setting that exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely, although it was a bit quiet, likely due to the Friday lunchtime slot. Overall, the change of plans was well worth it, and we're glad we ended up celebrating here.

   The Old Mill is our local and we've always had a great experience here. The food is reasonably priced and always tasty, and we love the new outdoor seating area. Looking forward to many more delicious meals!

   I had a mixed grill here (14.99) I've never experienced a meal that could be both burnt and undercooked at the same time. I've attached a pic of a steak cooked 'medium'. I was hoping this would be an improvement over it's previous life as 'The Otter' but from what I can tell, it's just a lick of paint and a dart board. I wouldn't say it was kid friendly, so the implied perception that this is somewhere to take your family would be inaccurate. I won't visit again.

   Hopefully a one off but an unpleasant experience. Stopped off at what I thought was a family pub and was with all the local drunks. This was at about 5.00 pm. Would have liked to stay for food but the atmosphere was threatening.

   Visited the Otter and took advantage of their very attractively priced 2 meal deal. Upbeat and tidy spacious pub with friendly bar staff. Food was excellent even more so for the money ! Clean seats, tables and cutlery. Plenty of choice on the menu. This one is an easy one to recommend!

   Excellent food, really really good, freshly cooked and tasty, and bigger than expected. Friendly staff, fast service, nothing too much trouble, he checked in on us and made sure it was all ok. Good atmosphere, comfy seats, clean toilets, it was just a pleasure to go there and we definitely will again.
