My all time favourite takeaway. Ive been ordering here for as long as i can remember, and for good reason too. No where else is nearly as good. Not only this, but service is great. My food is always delivered quickly, and always kept hot. I recommend it to anyone who truly loves good food
30/032025. Ordered a meal for a family of four including 2 children at 5:34pm worth just over £80 so a decent order, was told 30 to 40 minutes, rang back after an hour had passed to be told 15 minutes, rang back again after another half an hour to be told its on the way. Finally received food at 20 past 70pm. I've never known food take so long. First time using this place and definitely the last. Actually a real shame as the food was good but nearly 2 hours for it to arrive is ridiculous.
Lovely food but appalling service that we only accepted because one of our group was too hungry to order elsewhere. Food was supposed to be delivered in 40 minutes, it was over an hour late. When I rang to complain an employee hung up on me. I was told multiple times “100% it’s on its way”, and it still didn’t arrive for a very long time. They need to work with a new website designer that can make the delivery times work in line with expectations. Food an hour late, regardless of how nice the food is, is unacceptable in my opinion
This Chinese takeaway was my favourite takeaway as a kid in the 80s/90s and I've rediscovered it recently and I'm so happy. Now they deliver too. It has the same great taste as I remember. Try it, it's amazing, the best Chinese takeaway in Northampton. You won't be disappointed!
Absolutely the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Went in here by chance and I’m so glad we did. Friendly service, great prices and the food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh, good quality meats and the flavour was ace. Will definitely be back!

I've been visiting the New Tung Shing for twenty years and the food never disappoints. Even though we now live on the opposite side of town, we still come here for Chinese food as nowhere else comes close. Try the chilli salt shredded chicken - it's outrageously good!
