This accommodation is located on a hillside in Norwich, so it's a bit of a struggle to walk there with luggage. However, the room is large and warm, the breakfast is very hearty and freshly made, and the juice is extremely fresh. The staff were also warm and friendly!
Was here for 3 weeks for a work event. Staff have been friendly and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Rooms were tidy and spacious, and the breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Initial opinion upon walking in - shocking More pool tables than the eye can see, along with the carpet being essentially made of pool table felt... Beer selection left everything to be desired, and if you at least expect a cheap pint, think again - pravah at £5.10 a pop Garden was a pleasant surprise, fit with an outdoor fruity to add to the overall terrible ambiance If I had a gun to my head, I'd rate it 3/10
For the budget price we paid for the room it was a stay that was well worthy of charging more. We had a large room with everything in it you could need including a fridge, iron, ironing board, pod coffee machine, kettle, amble tea coffee and biscuits. Bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing. A full English breakfast, a wide choice of cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, fruit, bread, tea and coffee. The hotel was at the top of a steep hill and a long walk from the city centre. A little difficult to find. Sat nav postcode took us to the wrong place.
Booked the function room for a milestone birthday. Price was great for hire and included DJ, who was great at playing requests. Clean facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others and will definitely book again for future events
I enjoyed my stay, The room was comfortable and warm welcome from friendly staff, nice food and drink at reasonable prices, and a friendly atmosphere in the bar.
Free parking, large airy en suite rooms, smart TV, table fridge tea coffee maker, bedside tables and lamps, heater and fan, hair dryer, mirror, shower gel hand wash towels. Very poor WiFi didn't connect at all. Breakfast next morning had good portions but sausage was stale and reheated and served with soggy toast. They have a pub downstairs with powerful sound system and karaoke machine music goes on till midnight so not ideal for early sleepers and risers. 20-30 mins walk from Norwich market/Cathedral and this is uphill so not ideal for older walkers with bad knees. Beer garden with BBQ at the back which can be rented for free with bring your own food (if you buy alcohol from them) so this place is good for backpackers or private parties (rather than business travelers or older commuters)
Love the place and the people here are so nice and accomodating. Breakfast is huge and worth it. Love it!
Had my 70th birthday party there. Staff were friendly, polite. Disco/karaoke was fabulous. Music to suit my era.
Booked this for my partners surprise birthday, good turnout, music was good and we had karaoke which is always a winner. Drinks weren't overly priced. Clean facilities and a beautiful beer garden.
