Conveniently located within the hospital. Helpful staff. Food as well as coffee. Not too much seating and the queue can get long at times.
Not worth visiting. No food available, poor.
Just inside the old main entrance of the hospital, for some reason whenever I visit a Costa I seem to be either in a long queue or waiting while they make 6 assorted drinks for a work collection. So, A .. Costa is very popular, with good reason. But B .. infuriatingly slow, often, maybe it's me, I just have bad luck with my visit timing.
Quick service, shame at 8.40am they didn't have bread or pastries. Nice cappuccino though. Was a bit odd they do not accept Costa gift cards.
Had a hospital appointment so went into Costa for a cuppa .. nice friendly staff in there and they're pefectly willing to put 2 tea bags in for someone (like me) who prefers "builders" tea
Rude staff which are void of any kind of politeness or customer service. I used this place this morning (Saturday @ about 9.30 & it was empty) the poor guy that served me was a new starter yet the other member of staff who was obviously meant to be helping him out was rude every time the poor kid asked her anything, she then just ignored him. So wanted to say something to her but decided against it for his sake.
I am a fan of Costa coffee & the one at the hospital is a busy place. The staff are very helpful as I am unable to carry my coffee due to using crutches. The staff always try to help which is great. The coffee is lovely but it can get busy at times due to its popularity. I would recommend it.
It would help if the staff could speak English, if only to ease communication between themselves, let alone with the customers. The girl serving didn't understand what drink I was asking for even though I pointed it out to her on the wall menu behind her. She then failed to communicate this to the barista meaning I was served the wrong drink and made to feel it was MY fault! This all results in confusion and slow, poor service.
