Super service, great staff, very friendly. Nice atmosphere . Place could do with a repaint and the toilets are a bit grotty.

Probably the worst “chain” coffee shop I’ve ever been to. I took my 3.5 year old there and I was verbally abused by an aparently a “ regular morning customer” who told me to take my daughter to a playground instead of a coffee shop and “ to move to a different table” after standing up for myself against this horrid human being, I spoke to the manager on duty and asked her why did you not say anything to him, she was completely useless and not supportive she told me “ I can’t say anything to him he is always rude he comes here every morning”You need to train your managers “ how to handle difficult scenarios “ and if “ two customers are disputing” how to manage this. Another customer thankfully stood up for me who was so kind and told the man off. Your managers should be ashamed of themselves.

I recently dropped into the little Caffè Nero on Church Road in Hove and found it to be a pleasant and inviting spot. The staff were genuinely friendly, the place was kept clean, and it was nice to have the option of outdoor seating—ideal for enjoying a sunny moment with your coffee . It feels relaxed, with a welcoming atmosphere that suits both catching up with friends and a calm solo break . However, I was disappointed there didn’t seem to be a usable toilet—or at least I couldn’t find one—and it’s a bit unsettling when you expect basic facilities. Overall, the vibe and service were great, but the restroom situation definitely needs attention to match the rest of the experience.

Lovely staff and nice coffee but the toilets were awful and clearly not cleaned well enough

I went here to collect my order and o don’t think I’ve had a better experience with the staff. Staff are so positive uplifting and Bright. I wanted to mention Kasia she lit up the room, did whatever she could to make my day better. Kasia is very bubbly and friendly and approachable. I was anxious about going here as I hadn’t been here before but she defo made me feel welcomed and appreciated. She defo needs a pay raise or something!

Honestly, regardless of the times, coffee is good and some are not bad

Decent coffee, loyalty points and outside seating. Quite cosy and friendly.

This is a decent sized coffee shop with plenty of places to sit. When the weather allows, the outside seating area is far enough from the road that you can watch the world go by It is a good place to work, although the background music make it a harder place to take and make phone calls which is a good and bad thing
