The service was really bad. I asked one of the staff ( curvy woman) to clean the table but she didn’t come at all. That was really shame on her and her colleague who was working with her. That would be the last visit for this branch.

Went to grab a drink recently and was met with poor service, no smile and a cold and hostile interaction with Amy at Caffe Nero. She left me feeling quite deflated afterwards and now I may only visit the Church Road branch. Such a shame as I was a regular visitor.

Without a doubt the most unfriendly coffee shop I have ever been in. They were only interested in telling me that they were shutting in 20 minutes and seemed rather distressed that I wanted to sit in. I assured them that I'd leave well in time. After sitting for less than 5 minutes with my coffee, which was 90% froth and revolting, one of the staff came over to my table and, pointing to a different table said, "you sit there now." No "please", or "would you mind?" Incredible rude and unfriendly. There are plenty of other coffee shops in George Street. I'd give this one a miss.

Popped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. Wilfred wasted no time in devouring the croissant and lapping up the Cortados. Finished off with a babiccino with chocolate on top. Great location and good service

Fabulous coffee shop, Caffe Nero is always a delight, found this one in the pedestrian zone in Hove, covered outside seating area always a bonus, sit outside and watch the world go by. Fabulous.

Very pleasant sitting out front in the sunshine. Hood coffee and friendly staff. The frontage could do with a good jet wash a tidy up and the windows cleaned. Lacked curb appeal. From outside it looked like it wasnt open.

Re: George Street, Hove cafe Nero, the person serving me was knowledgeable about what was sold; he gave time to explaining and was personable. Not a great fan of 'chains' and giving money to faceless capitalist shareholders who don't make the coffee. Well enough of the politics, I'm sorry I got 'called away' - in short, cafe Nero is for me one of, if not the best of the corporate coffee shops I've tried - ie Café Nero in Hove, Fareham and Southampton. Relaxed environment - nice on the eyes. Vegan cheesecake certainly fooled me into thinking it was dairy - not sure if that the is a good/bad thing. Will go again undoubtedly

Not impressed. Turned up at 17:40 - 20 minutes before they closed to be told by the person behind the counter that they'd had a busy day and were keen to close and wouldn't serve me. Clearly the customer isn't right - but rather an inconvenience. Not going to Cafe Nero again
