Sunday roast was very nice. Service inattentive, disinterested: Attempted charge for exchanged drink. Never received condiments. No serviettes. Long wait on drinks (sitting ready at bar for 5+ mins whilst staff chatting and on phones). Had to locate my own spoon for dessert. Waited 20 mins after finishing mains before getting up from table to ask if we were able to order next course (again, chatting amongst themselves). BIG Redeeming factor was the young chef wrote down the vegan Yorkshire pudding recipe and made the effort to sit down to explain the method. He was more engaged and seemed to care more than the 3 front of house staff combined. Kudos to him.

Went to Roundhill for the Sunday lunch as it plant based. We tried the mushroom Wellington and nut roast which were both good. My wife’s Yorkshire pudding needing more cooking. Vegetables were lovely. The trillionaires pudding was very good. Overall a lovely experience and may visit again when in Brighton.

Came here on Saturday for a lunch and we all left quite disappointed. Table booked for 12:30. 2 of us were early and arrived at 12 (when they say they open) to have a drink before but doors were opened at 12:25, even though we were clearly outside waiting to go in (there was a worker inside and chef kept appearing from the back door). We were given 2 menus, both with different food on and the server didn't know which one was correct, but told us to order whatever we want and see if the kitchen say yes. Server was lovely, but maybe a little too 'relaxed' about it all. Food left a lot to be desired, especially the shawarma kebab, which had hardly any filling and certainly wasn't worth the money. Had to remind them of and wait on one of the small plates to come after we had all finished. 'Loaded fries' just had a drizzle of katsu sauce on the top. It felt like they weren't at all ready for serving food. It's possible we caught them on a bad day, but it certainly has put us off coming again. Shame as it's so highly rated and we have loved it in the past.

Had a really lovely meal on the weekend here. We got the kimchi fries, katsu aubergine, and the oyster mushroom skewers. The staff were really wonderful, we had a little delay with our food due to a problem with the oven not turning on and we were offered free bevs so our casual brunch turned into a very boozy Sunday but would v much recommend !!!

Very tasty roast with mushroom & beetroot Wellington but more roast veg & greens would have made it much better & more filling. I wasn’t completely full when finishing, which I’ve never experienced with a vegan Sunday roast in other places/cities. 30 mins wait time minimum from ordering. Some people waited 50 mins for theirs.

Amazing, as per usual. Had the cauliflower wings and the burger. My mum tried a vegan burger for the first time and she was blown away by the taste. The potato terrine was delicious too! Good selections of beers too if you are into ipas. Big shout out to our sever (Maximilliane, I believe) who was the nicest and managed to squeeze as in before the kitchen closed. Absolutely the best local for food in Brighton.

Absolutely wonderful plant-based food! The kimchi fries were so tasty and the aubergine fillet was bursting with flavour. Great service and ambience too.

England's best vegan pub. My fiance and I were very happy with our meals and the great service provided by the friendly staff. We are looking forward to our next visit. The only thing that could be improved; the outdoor seating could use a few more screws.

We came for the Sunday Roast. We were not disappointed. It was AMAZING. I've never enjoyed a plant based dinner as much as I did this one. Highly recommended. We tried to get their recipe for vegan Yorkshire pudding, but they're hanging on to that secret!
