Absolutely abysmal vibes here, wouldn't recommend in the slightest. Completely empty even on a Friday night. Cider exploded all over me. Noah, the server, however was lovely- we had a really nice chat because he had nothing to do. Never coming back!

Without trying, the weirdest pub in Brighton in the teeth of a lot of competition. This is does by stocking almost nothing to drink. A Harvey’s pub, Harvey’s is off, as is almost every other beer. The spirit selection would shame your great aunt it’s so feeble, but there is wine. There’s also a pool table and TV showing Europa League football, which is why I was there. Many potential customers walked away when they saw there was virtually nothing to drink, but students gathered to play pool and enjoy the irony of such a strange non-boozer. The barman had no choice but to find it as amusing as everyone else there, but I’m not sure it’s a very sound business plan.

One of Brightons only remaining Proper pubs. Fair selection of cask ale.as well as lagers. Nice, friendly staff and locals alike. Amazing pie n mash for £7!!! Pies are from the famous pie shop next door.

I hadn't been to the Mitre much since the revamp. Mainly because of the TV in the former snug, but on this visit the volume was turned down and there was a great atmosphere.

Conveniently-located traditional pub with friendly staff, a wide selection of drinks, a lovey warm atmosphere, comfortable seating and a generally good vibe.

The Lovely Taylor served a very busy pub on her own during the World Cup was so polite and helpful, even went out her way to travel upstair and make Tea and coffee! Highly recommend in the Brighton area.

Very good Brighton Harvey's pub not far from the railway station. 4 cask beers on handpump, including a mild and a porter, when I visited. Very quiet a couple of hours before a game at the American Express Community Stadium.
