   Feels like a proper English country inn, with great atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a function room to hire (I was there for a party) and the buffet was great. I'd be tempted to go try the rooms and the main restaurant sometime.

   Don't go for the food. It is terrible. Everything was either luke warm or cold. The veggie burger was really strange ..supposed to be Korean but I have lived in Korea and there was nothing Korean about it. Basically batter in a bun with some pickles thrown in. Chips were Luke warm. The veggies of another dish were cold. The coffee was also warm and extremely strong. A whole jug of milk and it was still nearly black and now cold from all the milk. Terrible. Nice waitress and staff but if I served this stuff I'd be ashamed to work there.

   Been coming here for roasts for a long time. Today was appalling walked in and was ignored for the first 5 minutes no smile hello even when they did acknowledge me ahe was at the bar tapping away on the screen . Ordered our roast lunches they were both barely warm rock hard carrots and cold revolting potatoes the lamb was inedible both children refused the food . extremely slow service brought puddings and left the food plates in the way off the children. Had no cutlery for a long time till i had to send my daughter up to ask. Worst roast i have ever had, we left the food. The puddings wernt any better the sticky toffee was dry with no toffee sauce. What a shame its gone down hill so badly. Worst service i ever received.. asked for the bill no one came back in the end we left TERRIBLE visit

   Quaint little pub and restaurant/bar. Quiet and out of the way in a beautiful scenic area. Staff are super kind and very friendly and accommodating and look after you very well. The restaurant is great offering really tasty American style barbeque. Room is slightly dated and has no climate control but bathroom is nice and modern, seems recently done. Quality stay overall!

   Had a lovely mid week dinner on Thursday with family. The food was delicious and presented beautifully and the service was very friendly and attentive. The new menu is fab and a good few veggie options for us.

   Sunday roasts were lovely & highly recommend the lemon curd cheesecake. Could do better on the service though, left waiting a long time to order, extra gravy never came & had to order one round of drinks twice! Also had to track down someone in order to pay.

   Sunday roast doesn’t come much better, I’ve tried many a roast in many a Sussex pub and the Roebuck does the best. The staff are great, the venue is welcoming and the ingredients are the finest - plus mostly locally sourced. I highly recommend the Roebuck Inn.

   We came here for our Sunday lunch this afternoon, the roast dinner was lovely! And the kids menu was great, especially with it being a Sunday. The kids enjoyed the play area and the service and the staff was also brilliant. Highly recommend.
