Popped in with some friends earlier and our bartender was really lovely. Chester made sure our experience was lovely, gave us great drinks and service. They mentioned that reviews were welcome so we thought we'd say thank you!
We were in town for the Brighton Marathon and close to this pub. We loved it so much we came back 3 times in one week! The service was quick and very friendly. The vibe is nice and there’s even outdoor seating. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the Mac and cheese, pizza, mushroom chili, fish sandwich, salad, and more. We are back in the US now and are really missing this place! Easy 5 stars.
Regularly visit this pub and always have the best time. Very friendly staff, very inclusive environment. Great for watching sports too. Excellent food and a pool table, what more could you want?

One of my personal favourite pubs in the UK. I lived in Hove for 8 months in 2017-18 and I always used to come here. Whenever I am in the area I always try to visit. The pizzas, the sport, the layout, it’s got it all. And unlike many pubs it actually has a handle on what sport is on when, rather than other pubs that simply refuse to show you live cricket as opposed to a football repeat. The only thing, however, is since its refurbishment it feels underlit. And maybe that’s just my eyesight, but I think I preferred the old lighting.
Great atmosphere for the Football during the World Cup, food time and quality was on point too! Quick drink service there is no complaints here. Eric and Lou are amazing too!
