Visited on Friday for the first time. Lovely busy atmosphere good service and clean toilets! Staff were friendly and we had a couple of reasonably priced drinks before getting the train home. Definitely would go back.

Libby is the most fantastic bartender ever!! Always has a smile on her face and is great to all the regulars. If shes working you’re guaranteed a beer in your hand pronto!!

Not enough beer options, no porter, no stout. Corn fritters were not to the standard the price would suggest. The chicken burger was not a burger, it was more like a chicken sandwich so, it was all style really. The pie was also chicken and a little disappointing too. The place looks nice and interesting, the service was ok and it's very easy to get to from the station. Kid friendly during the day, but no high chairs or kids menu.

A really lovely pub, me and my girlfriend just sat for a drink and quick bite to eat before leaving Brighton and loved it. The bartenders were wonderful, and the food tasted great! The aesthetic is also very cute, I loved the decorations ❤️ I enjoyed our little break here very much and would definitely stop by again if I return to Brighton.

The decor, the atmosphere and the staff are great, but unfortunately the food is disappointing. The Walrus was really busy at Saturday lunchtime and you can't help but wonder if it has become a victim of its own success and slightly over ambitious. The quality of the food was very average. Two main courses were taken off the bill as two of our party of six were not happy with them: dry burger and a very oily artichoke and butternut squash salad. The oil was of indeterminate origin and certainly did not taste of olive oil; our 2 Italian friends can vouch for that! The added halloumi was battered and deep fried as opposed to grilled... Chips seemed like the oven variety and everything was just rather bland. Service was really friendly and attentive for such a busy venue.

I was disappointed with the food.. I paid £15 for a very average cheeseburger and small portion of chips. I wouldn't recommend this pub if you are looking to get a nice lunch, however the staff we're friendly and it's a nice atmosphere so would come back but only for a drink. Terribly overpriced food menu for what it is. Power to the people!

Good selection of beers and a good location close to the train station so always a good start/finish point on a day out in Brighton for a beer. Nice secret beer garden at the back.

I can be quite critical of venues, and fullers last time let the venue down. Staff dealt with it professionally. So tonight is my 1st visit on fullers promo night. It was fun. Not for staff who worked tirelessly to sort out barcode issues and pricing issues. Mainly due to customers not reading what's included. Can't say simples (copyright lol) So top marks to a team that worked tirelessly to serve customers as quick as they can. Don't wave or tap. One customer said to barstaff about me, well he is waiting patiently. I work in trade and know what a thankless job staff do. Good bar staff know what customers drink and with my swan vesta hair colour, I'm not hard to remember. So like rival venue All Bar One you get a 10/10.

Loved the pub. Wide selection of beers. Close to the station for a pre-travel beer. Food not so good on my visit. First three items from the menu were not available. Opted for the "Chef Special" of Chicken Burger. See photo. This was definitely not special. Should have gone to McDonald's.
